I have been a practicing architect for over 20 years and I am still excited about my next project as I was about my very first (a small addition to a single family residence) many years ago. This is my passion. The process of creating something is never easy. It requires focus, dialogue, knowledge and persistence and perhaps a little luck to create an inspired solution. Whether it's a bathroom remodel, a new home or restaurant, The same amount of work is required to create a successful outcome. The reward for me is validated by it's use. It must be functional, it must meet the requirements of the client and must create a level of "comfort". Maybe they don't know why but it is there and it speaks to there "soul" That is what this is all about for me: creating an environment that connects you to your surroundings. A mentor/boss during my" formative" years referred to it as "bringing out the inner child in all of us". It is there in your memories and if we can tap into that, I believe you have created something very special. It will resonate. Hopefully when that day comes for you, I can be a part of it. Gary
