We were very disappointed. A lot of Little things that added up to a lack of attention to detail. I had to fight and argue with the PM constantly. Our house is almost 5 years old and the cabinets are pealing - we were told it was because of a solution used to clean our floors (didn't touch the cabinets). When our roof leaked we were told because there was a tennis ball in the gutter (on the opposite side of our house). The wrong windows were put in... The wrong tile... I ran out of enegery to fight to get what I was paying for.... When you go with a high end builder you think you will get quality. Our house value is only $475k... I guess we were just not high end enough...

The Tile Shop

Hartman Homes is absolutely wonderful to work with. Julie Speer and Mary Tunnicliff head the Design department. They are always on top of everything. From selection, to order, to delivery and finally install. I work closely with the both of them and they are always very pleasant and accommodating. Being very organized helps with maintaining project deadlines. Watching them work with their clients, you notice how attentive they are to their needs and wants. Being versatile in design helps them reach more styles that reflect their clients personality but always keeping in mind the longevity of their home designs. As soon as the Parade of Homes comes to an end, we get to move into our beautiful Hartman Home! This is the third home we have built and our experience with Hartman Homes far surpasses our projects with previous builders. From the very start, they have welcomed us as friends instead of clients which has made this such an exciting and positive experience. Mike and his "Dream Team" have gone above and beyond to make us feel as if we were their only home they were building. What a pleasure it has been to be around such fun and talented people. We felt like we built our home with a great group of friends who we could trust.

My husband and I built a home with Mike Hartman and his incredible staff while living in two different cities. Having built other homes, we were well aware of how stressful the process could potentially be. Our experience with Hartman Homes was remarkable. My husband and I had a fantastic experience building our home with Hartman Homes, Inc. We fell in love with one of their other homes. We were able to customize the plans and create a home design to fit our needs, wants and our lot. The building process was smooth and professional. We loved the team of subcontractors and Hartman professionals that we worked with. The design team was awesome. They made sure to incorporate our furniture when considering things like window heights, outlet placements, etc. It was the best building experience we have had. Commented: shiplap ceiling and around fireplace.The shiplap is red oak and it is 5" wide. The dropped ceiling is roughly 7' wide. We get the material from our lumber supplier. Thank you for the question.
