Kristin at HDG Landscape Design was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was ginuinely out to help me find exactly what I wanted/needed. She was super patient and a pleasure to work with.

I have had the privilege of working with Kristin of HDG Landscape Design on multiple occasions as we have collaborated on projects together. Working with Kristin has been a wonderful experience. Her attention to detail, design talent and reliability make it extremely easy to work with her. I really like the fact that Kristin is upfront, honest, responsive and meets project deadlines. One thing that seperates Kristin from many other designers is she listens. She doesn't design with an ego that reins supreme over what the end client wants, but she designs what the client desires because she listens to what exactly is desired. I certainly recommend Kristin and HDG Landscape Design as a landscape and outdoor designer. I have had no regrets on the multiple project I have been fortunate enough to work with her on.

I bought our house with a xeriscape landscape design that was out of control, uninviting, and devoid of color. I hired Kristin to determine which plants we should keep, which we needed to remove, and which plants we should add to the landscape beds to give a soft and colorful look with an inviting feel. Kristin came to our house, took measurements, and recorded all of the existing plant material. She pointed out that the front of our home was not giving visitors a warm welcome because too many tall plants and trees where blocking the front yard. She suggested adding large masses of colorful perennials and relocate our xeriscape rock mulch to be used as decorative dry river beds in key bed areas to transition our yard from a xeriscape to a Texas native design. She went above and beyond to create a demolition plan for the contractor we hired to remove the plants. Her new design was easy to understand for both us and the contractor, and she included plant photos with descriptions of each plant to help us understand the design and learn how to care for the plants after the contractor put them in. Now, we have a unique, harmonious front yard that offers more warmth and color and that we can be proud of.

Kristen at HDG Landscape design met with us first for a consultation. She listened to what we wanted, gave recommendations and designed the back yard of our dreams. She met with us in our home to review the plans. She brought a professional print detailing ever stone, plant and tree As well as color photos of every plant and a detail description. I can't say enough good things about her or her company. I highly recommend her!

Kristin designed our full 1 acre lot including extensive hardscape, irrigation, plants and future pool. She broke the project into sections so we could complete the plan over time and provided us with full inventory of plants and materials. It is a beautiful design and it will look great once we begin installation later this month.

Kristin was a pleasure to work with. She really knows her stuff! She drew up an amazing design plan for us that we could implement at our own pace. She also included future plans that we requested for adding a summer kitchen. She worked with our likes and dislikes. She came out to our home multiple times and always answers any questions we may have. Would recommend her to anyone!

We hired Kristin Sherbit to design a space for us to enjoy as well as our three small dogs. The space is very small (5 ft across) and long (26 ft long) behind a townhome. She managed to create a colorful garden of plants, flowers and pots with a paver stone pathway through it. The side of the townhome is only 3 feet across and has paver stones as well. A few colorful pots of flowers strategically placed still allows us to walk freely down the pathway! This was not only feasible for our pups, but cozy and beautiful for us to enjoy!

I know that landscaping can make or break the appearance of a home, so I decided to hire HDG Landscape Design to come up with a new landscape plan, for a home we recently bought. Kristin designed a beautiful design that is so much nicer than what I could have come up with myself. I told her what types of plants I liked, and she was able to incorporate them into the plan, taking into account my desire to have a low maintenance, drought tolerant landscape. She is a good listener, very easy to communicate with, and responded quickly to all of my questions. I highly recommend Kristin for your landscape design needs!

We hired Kristin to design a landscape plan for our backyard. We wanted to include a pool, fence, small garden and have certain types of plants and trees Kristin helped us pull our ideas together into a cohesive plan with logic to the placement of everything. She helped us consider things we would have overlooked on our own because of her expertise. She was very professional and pleasant to work with from beginning to end. We would recommend her without hesitation.

Kristen worked with myself and my husband to blend our two styles into a complete design. She was very knowledgeable about landscape design and the trees and plants that grow well in the area.
