We love working with clients to develop personal environments that are beautiful, functional and, above all else, unique. House of Ruby Interior Design’s philosophy is one of relaxed sophistication. Last year, we purchased a Mid-Century home that was, well, original -- nothing had been touched since it was first built in 1959. Melodie provided council throughout the down-to-the-studs remodel. Ultimately, we had the pleasure of working with Melodie and House of Ruby on the interiors. Her team managed the purchase and white-gove delivery of virtually every item in our home. Throughout the process, they were exceedingly well organized and incredibly responsive – wonderful qualities when you are managing, what can easily be, an unwieldy process. We’re so grateful for all her help!

We had the pleasure of working with Melodie Rubin on our daughter's room, guest room, and powder room. She also provided us with color consultation prior to moving into our new home. All of our interior walls and floors (carpet) were a dark, muddy brown and Melodie helped us transform the space into a fresh and welcoming home before we moved in. Melodie is a great listener. She elevates her clients vision while honoring their personal asthetic and budget. Melodie gives great attention to detail and demands the best from her vendors; their admiration and loyalty are evident and I think, a testament to Melodie's growing reputation in the design community. We're looking forward to working with Melodie and her team on the next phase of our project in the new year!

My husband and I could not be happier with House of Ruby. Working with Melodie has been wonderful. She listens to us 100%, but pushes us to break out of our comfort zone. From the beginning it's been such a nice working relationship and the rooms have turned out amazing. We are just wrapping up on our sons room and Melodie recommended a carpet that I wasn't that into at first. I showed my mom and her exact words were "go with what Melodie says, everything she has done has been so great". So, we did and now I cannot wait for the carpet to be installed. Both my husband and I look forward to more projects with Melodie.

Melodie Rubin of House of Ruby Interior Design is amazing to work with. Prior to my commenting on her design skills, I would like to speak about her professional approach to working with clients. Melodie is patient and finds creative ways to satisfy her client's needs. She is able to listen to their wants and goals and translate them into sophisticated yet comfortable designs. She also has the unique ability to balance her personal taste with that of her clients. In terms of her design sense, Melodie has an amazing eye for color. Regardless of whether she is designing an ultra modern space or a more traditional home, she uses colors, patterns and various textures to create amazingly cohesive designs. I have and would highly recommend Melodie as a designer. .

Melodie is always up on the latest trends and is always looking out for her customer's best interests when it comes to quality and price. I would recommend House of Ruby every time!

Interior design is nothing if not the devil in the details. My observation is that House of Ruby insists on that attention to detail from her suppliers. Melodie is her client's best advocate and takes great care in seeing that the client gets the best possible outcome and experience. Maintaining a good relationship with your suppliers gets her the results she needs to satisfy the client demands.
