About Us

Charles-Ryan Barber is a professional photographer and photojournalist currently based out of Los Angeles. Charles-Ryan fell in love with photography while living in Morocco in 2004. He later discovered his passion for photojournalism while documenting the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Charles-Ryan then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism from the University of Georgia. While in school, he also worked as a freelance photographer for various clients and publications, including Creative Loafing, Paste Magazine, Flagpole Magazine, Groupon, River Oak Photography, and Eikon Productions. In 2011 he relocated to Los Angeles, where he continues his work as a freelance photographer. Some of his LA clients include Yelp, Tim Barber Ltd., Deus Ex Machina Motorcycles, Roamba.com, LivingSocial, Kabateck Brown Kellner LLP, and Mad Decent Productions. Charles-Ryan has a unique perspective, a keen eye for detail, and a fascination with seeking a perfect balance between visual storytelling and great art photography.
