We are very happy with the kitchen and bathroom cabinets we had installed from I Love Kitchens. Our renos' took place recently. We had a couple of issues at the time that we were not happy with. Farivar was so professional and wonderful to work with. He immediately assessed the problem and was quick to solve our problems. We have had a lot of complements on our cupboards. They are exceptional quality and look fabulous! We are quick to let everyone know that we got our cupboards from I love kitchens and what exceptional service we received from Farivar! We highly recommend working with this company. Besides the quality of the cupboards, it's the people that you work with that make the difference. Farivar is exceptional!

The challenge here was to seamlessly blend old and rustic with new and modern. Farivar came up with an amazing design for the kitchen - see the picture. The order came in on time and was installed on time. Farivar was always on top of any details that I noticed before I noticed them!

We were extremely pleased with our kitchen cabinets from ILK. Hao worked with us from design to completion and she was very patient with the many changes we had. ILK met all our deadlines and were very helpful in making good suggestions for design, layout and options. We are extremely happy with the quality of the cabinets and the installation. I would highly recommend ILK to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen.

I have had a terrible experience with I Love Kitchens, the Kitchen was supposed to be installed by the last week of May 2018, Here we are in the Last week of July still not complete. Completely unacceptable. Quality is sub par, I have put in many Ikea systems that look better and work better. I had a desk installed in my son's room, they installed it at 34" I cant even tell you how many times my wife has been in tears. in hind site i should have taken the time off work and done it myself. a month ago after i had pushed back the Counter top install for the 5th time, I told them to take their kitchen back and to give me my money.... they promised that they would get it done by the weekend so they came in and did just enough to get the counter top installed and then left. We have not seen them since.... Still waiting I hate kitchens

The designers were very good at figuring out OUR needs and helped design the kitchen around us. The quality of the product and the finishing are very high quality we are so happy with the finished look of our new kitchen. We would highly recommend them and LOVE our new kitchen space!!

My condo kitchen was 20 years old, with builder's special cabinets with pealing laminate and damaged arborite countertops. It definitely was not worth saving! Alice at I Love Kitchens came up with a functional and pleasing design for my kitchen. The layout was similar to the original kitchen but my new cabinets are more functional and definitely more attractive. We took down the original raised eating bar, making everything counter height opened things up. Alice listened to what I wanted and was able to make suggestions while still encouraging me to go with my own choices. The kitchen took about 5 weeks to complete from demo to final install of the backsplash. Communication was excellent throughout and I am very pleased with the way I Love Kitchens assisted with co-ordination of the project and installed the cabinets. The completed renovation came in on-budget. I Love Kitchens put me in touch with an excellent contractor who demoed the old kitchen and took care of many finishing details. I now have a high quality kitchen!

I went in with firm ideas on the materials and design and Alice happily collaborated with me on my goal but also provided some fantastic suggestions and guidance that improved upon my original vision. I was referred to Alice and Has at I Love Kitchens by a contractor who had seen their work at a client's home and was impressed. Since then, the contractor has contracted I Love Kitchens on multiple occasions. Alice was extremely knowledgable, flexible and helpful throughout the design process. The installation experience was first class, Manuel, Severin, Sammy and Eddy did an excellent job. My other contractor's were impressed with the quality of the work. Highly recommend!

We first met Alice Wong in Aug 2016 as we were looking to renovate our entire townhouse and with the wide variety of kitchen cabinet and design companies in Richmond there were a lot of choices. From that first meeting, we had a good rapport and could actually talk to someone about design, materials, process, cost, timeline and working arrangement (with our contractor) in an open, honest and upfront manner. During the design phase, we worked closely to see her designs to then evolve based on our dreams in to a finalized design. During the construction/installation phase, we kept up close communication and coordination with our general contractor to ensure the various dependencies and activities were done properly and on time. Overall as homeowners doing a big renovation, do you want someone who only gives you one option/path or someone that you can talk and work through things during your renovation? Alice and the ILK team have been fantastic from start to finish through all the details and helping us the clients/homeowners understand how they work and how we could get our dream kitchen! The only difficult thing working with Alice was that she gave us an even better second design option - which we couldn't afford both in costs and time! :) Have a look at the finished kitchen pictures (townhouse in Steveston)!

This is a review for Farivar Zargaren, who is the designer at ILK. Farivar designed the kitchen and wok kitchen and all six bathrooms for my new house and did a wonderful job. No space went to waste, and he made the kitchens and bathrooms look sleek and modern. Most importantly, he was incredibly patient and professional throughout the entire building process. He helped us deal with many unexpected issues (e.g. delays) and was always very cheerful even when I was frustrated. I am so pleased with how my kitchens and bathrooms turned out, and I have Fariver to thank for all of it. Fariver is an outstanding designer and helped me stay in budget. I highly recommend Fariver at ILK and will definitely use him for all my future design projects!

I had a an extremely negative experience with this company, and although I have never written a negative review before, I felt compelled to do so in this instance. The kitchen designer was very good to work with but the construction and installation process was very bad. The project was originally supposed to take 7 weeks to complete, and ended up taking 4 months. It was a large kitchen and after waiting and waiting, the kitchen arrived in bits and pieces over a month or two. Then we had to send all the stained cabinet doors back twice, they were so poorly finished. The installer would show up for an hour or two and then not come back for a week or two. The company asked for a huge downpayment up front (our bad for giving it). They told us they needed the second installment (giving them 95% of the $$), before they could deliver the cabinets to begin installation. As soon as they got the payment and cashed the cheque (literally within hours), they told us they couldn't deliver anywhere near on time...very unethical. I've done many, many renovation projects and never experienced anything like this before. Based on my experience, this is a company that overcommits, and underdelivers, with little respect or regard for the customer.

Sorry to hear you were not satisfied with us at the end. We did do our best with the situation provided to us. You signed the contract on Feb 9th, 2016. You confirmed your custom chalking/glazing color on Feb 17, 2016. The factory shipped the cabinet cases to your site March 24, 2016. That is 6 weeks after signing the contract and 5 weeks after confirming your custom chalking/glazing. The cabinet doors were shipped March 31st, 2016. You don't actually need the doors/drawers until the end of the installation because it minimizes the amount of accidental scratches or damages.

Regarding the stained finishes. You were not happy with the stained doors because you were able to see too much of the "imperfections" of the wood. After your meeting at the manufacturing facility, an explanation that wood is a natural product with some “imperfections”, we showed you its real beauty when we do a manual wiping stain process. However you insisted that you do not want to see much of the graining and preferred a surface stain. Therefore we re-stained the doors/parts and finished with a light pigmented lacquer to cover these "imperfections". We provided this service without any additional cost for you. You were also aware of the timing of this process.

During the installation of this process you added parts to the project. These parts had to be produced and a new installation time to be confirmed. You also wanted us to fix the small standard gap between two doors. You didn't want to see the light shine through these gaps. We supplied and installed a solution for you at no cost to you as well. That also took time.

The payment condition is part of the contract you signed. According to the contract the second payment was due 3 working days prior to shipment. There is nothing unethical about this process. We also didn't cash the cheque within hours, no financial institution will allow that.

Customer service is and will always be our top priority. We try to keep all our customer happy at all time. However, sometimes it doesn't work as smoothly as planned. We are very sorry for that and take all constructive criticism to help continuously improving our customer service.

Attachment is the kitchen upon the completion. I believe that you received the beautiful kitchen as you wished.
