About Us

Lucy Jensen's Studio opened in 1989, specializing in murals, trompe l'oeil, decorative painting, and faux finishes. With a foundation in fine art and extensive experience in scenic art for movies, television, and amusement parks, the studio has established itself as a source of talent and versatility, creating unique, site specific murals for residences, shopping malls, showrooms, bookstores, and museums. As of 2012, we have featured works in fourteen Southern California Showcase houses and two episodes of HGTV's" Designing for the Sexes," (2002 – 03). Our work has been published in Los Angeles Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, and is included in Street Gallery, an anthology of murals in Los Angeles. Lucy Jensen Studio joined the American Society of Interior Designers as an Industry Partner in 1990, participating in the Pasadena and the Los Angeles chapters on both professional projects and organizational ones. Over the years, we have enjoyed lasting, productive relationships with designers and individual clients, which have resulted in original, unique murals of exceptional quality.
