TL; DR – I didn’t get everything promised in the original agreement. Once final payment was made, communication dropped off. They will not return calls. I am extremely suspicious of the validity of the so-called warranty (which I have not actually seen or received). So, my experience with AHEA was similar to Mike S, whose review is also posted here. Initially, all communication and customer service was quick, and attentive. We scheduled our initial evaluation at the Sharonville Homeshow, they came out 4 days later, and 6 days after that, our insulation was installed. During the evaluation and thermal scan, we were also informed about all of the other “bonuses” we would be getting for home energy efficiency: showerheads, lightbulbs, “smart” surge bars/powerstrips, and some sort of coupon book for restaurants or something. As with most customers (I assume) we were drawn in by the 25% or more savings “guarantee” with the lifetime warranty was transferrable when we sell our house at some point in the future. OK, so 2/5/20 – installation takes place, they arrived early (!) and were done with the insulation and showerheads in 2.5 hours (we had been told it would take around 4). Great! I was told the lightbulbs and powerstrips were “being shipped” and they would bring those out at a later date, with the coupon book and warranty paperwork. Fine. Two weeks go by, with no word from them (and, no post-install inspection, as we were told would happen). I called, and the very friendly lady on the phone said yes they had everything, and we arranged for delivery to my home that Saturday, between 10:30 and 11:00. Well…. 10:30 came and went, 11:00 came and went, 12:00 came and went…. At 12:30 I carried on with my life. The following Wednesday (3 business days after they were supposed to come) I called, and got voicemail. I left a message. A little over 24 hours later, I called again, having not received a call back. At this point, I’m irritated, and said in my message that I felt their customer service had dropped from a 10 before they had my money, to a 1 after they had it. Now, I’m not all that concerned about the lightbulbs, etc, since those were not things I was expecting when I ordered attic insulation. The warranty, however, is another story, because it seems that it is completely meaningless if I don’t have a copy of it, and if the company does not return my phone calls. 3/13 – I got my first full month’s utility bill since installation. I’ve been waiting for that to complete and post this review, wondering if there was any substance the “guaranteed minimum savings of 25%.” There is not. In comparing my March 2020 bill to March 2019, the overall charge was actually $2.00 higher. Breaking it down into gas & electric, there as a small savings in gas, approximately 12%. The electric portion was higher (probably because I never got those fancy energy-saving lightbulbs I was promised). So, I feel both suckered and scammed by AHEA, and am out a whole lot of money that I could have (and should have) put into other home improvement projects. I do not recommend this company at all, and will probably be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about them as well. I see that their accreditation with the BBB has been revoked, due to complaints and non-responsiveness.

We had a great experience with this company. Our home is much more comfortable and way cooler this summer. Year after year we have sweated it out waking up sweaty and feeling unwell. After these guys showed us what was wrong with our home we were able to fix it and I'm happy to report that it is so much cooler in our home and more comfortable we've been able to notice an immediate difference. Oh yeah by the way are utilities went down about $80 a month to.

I just had the thermal image done on my home this morning and it was good. The sales guy & everyone I delt with was extremely professional and helpful in every way possible. I'm very pleased with all of the information that I was provided with. We also received a $50 Visa gift card for our participation in the home thermal scan. We are looking forward to lower utility bills this year. I would feel comfortable recommending this company to any friends and family but also would like to save money on there utility cost.

After careful consideration Joanne and I decided to move forward with are insulation job. We are happy to report that are energy cost are down more than the 25% that was promised since we have installed the copperflect. We have referred several of our friends from church and they are also extremely happy with the results they have received.

I would highly recommend this company the work was done and a very expedient manner. The workers themselves from beginning to end we're very polite and extremely courteous. And I am happy to report that I am saving on my bills and more comfortable in my home. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who would like to resolve uncomfortability in their home or high utility bills.

Great service. Wonderful to deal with from start to finish. My husband and I learned so much during the evaluation. These guys are amazing! SO thankful we found American Home.

I am so glad I researched this company. These guys are terrific!! James the owner is a 10 star owner! He came on a Sunday to give me a bid and fit me in his schedule. Too bad most businesses do not excel to this level of customer care anymore. My architect father taught me to always get 3 bids. After seeing James reviews and speaking with him, he was the only one I called - I'm glad I did! happy to report my first utility bill is significantly lower.
