Jacob has photographed a few of our recent residential projects, and we couldn’t be more pleased. He provides the upmost professionalism and exceptional communication throughout the process. Jacob’s work demonstrates his creativity in lighting, composition, and attention to detail. He is patient, and listens to our thoughts and goals for what we’d like the photography to capture. We recently had the pleasure of working with Jacob on a large residential project, and I cannot express how impressed we are with his work. It's an absolute experience to work with Jacob. He was the first professional photographer that specialized in shooting interiors with whom I had worked. He was very patient with me, guiding me through the shoot with his tremendous experience. I felt an immediate trust in him; he knew the shot to get without my having to overly explain my vision. Jacob was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was referred to us by another client who spoke highly of him. We have two digital art installations we needed a videographer for. We needed assistance for a few video reels to incorporate into a website we're building. Jacob came up with great ideas of capturing the essence and details of each installations and how they should be shot. You can really tell he cares about his work, it was something I noticed immediately. He helped define detailed criteria with us to make sure the video shoots were a success. Jacob is the best of the best. I wanted a photographer who would deliver crisp, crystal clear interior photography with an artful eye and he did just that. Jacob sets himself apart from the rest because his work has that tiny “edge” to it. During the shoot, I appreciate how quickly he worked to accommodate changing light. I also appreciated his valuable opinion on styling and creating the perfect composition for the shot. He is extremely professional especially in the context of a real client’s personal home and I loved the assistants he brought onsite too. He delivered my jpegs in a timely manner. I worked with Jacob on a project of mine while I was located in Chicago. It was my own home which I had put a lot of work into and knew I would be starting my interior designer business and wanted some amazing photos of my home for my portfolio. I reached out to a few photographers and went back and forth with all of them for a while but it was pretty clear Jacob was who I needed to go with. He came over for a walk through and we talked about what I wanted the photos to look like and timeline as well as budget. When he came over for the actual photoshoot he was really great! Easy to work with and understood my vision for the photos plus took his expertise to really pull it all together! I've been very happy with how the photos have come out and the photos have payed off tremendously as one of the photos of my master bedroom has been featured on HGTV and helped me win the best of Houzz award for design two years in a row. Jacob's professionalism and approach to photography demonstrate years of dedication to a craft. As we walked through a historic residence, his main focus was capturing the home's story, its essence, and reflecting it through photography. Being an out of state client, it was very difficult to plan the photoshoot and provide Jacob with all of the information/details he needed to prepare properly for the shoot. He was very accommodating and flexible and worked around the challenges that were present, such as time constraints and limited walkthrough ability. Leading up to the shoot, Jacob was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. On the day of the shoot, Jacob and his assistant arrived on time and did a phenomenal job working within our time constraints, while still being very thorough and detail oriented along the way. We appreciated his fresh, creative eye when it came to coming up with unique angles and valued his professionalism and overall photography knowledge and talents. I would highly recommend Jacob as he is very detail oriented, creative, professional, knowledgeable, and talented when it comes to his craft of photography.

Jacob handily and creatively executed an editorial shoot for us that was no easy task. Although the home was a bit spare, Jacob managed to capture some beautiful shots that fulfilled our visual mission. He also managed to capture tricky room shots as well as people shots in a short amount of time.

Jacob has been dynamite to work with. We had a marathon shoot over three days at five different locations and he was the epitome of professional and not to mention a super talented craftsman. I'm a wood worker who takes much pride in his work, and to see it come to life in Jacobs photos is one of the best investments I've ever made. You will not be disappointed with is work. His lighting skills and attention to detail in every frame can not be surpassed. I have already hired him for two additional jobs, and plan on working with him on all of my future projects.
