Contrary to my experience and initial review of Cooley Roofing, I have had several serious and unresolved problems since installation several years ago. Troy Cooley's follow up and resolution of two issues has been disappointing to say the least. Several months into my new roof I was having my house painted and the painter pointed out an area where there was water leaking from the roof down the side of my wood siding. I called Troy several times to ask him to have this fixed, but he said that this was his busy season and never sent anyone out. I had a carpenter repair the siding and finally literally ran Troy down when I saw him in someone's front yard. Months later his guy came, well after the painter had finished, and "fixed" the problem. Two years later I have extensive damage inside the wooden wall from continuing water leakage of which I was not aware until the interior wall began rot. I now have a contractor fixing this damage and replacing the flashing which was not done correctly the first TWO times. Also, the gutters were not angled as they should have been causing the porch section to remain full of water. Had a carpenter, painter, and 2 contractors tell me all tell me the same thing. When I called about this, Troy said that he could not come out and fix it for less than $240. It was clearly their fault, yet I am supposed to pay?! So much for backing your work! I'm really just disgusted with this company and their lack of integrity and concern for their customers. Once Troy has your money, he won't be back to resolve any issues.
