About Us

Joanne's work is expressive and abstract, it breaks away from the traditional representation of objects and explores the relationship between forms and colors. She takes her inspiration from nature but works entirely from intuition and without using reference images for inspiration. She likes to explore how mediums work with each other and the different properties of each medium. She uses a mixed range of materials from inks, acrylics, spray paints, pastels, and resin.

Professional Information

Joanne Neville is a Visual Artist based in the West of Ireland. She also has worked as an Interior Architect for 15 years between Ireland and Canada. She studied classical realism for 3 years at Nicole Sleeth Atelier in Vancouver, from here her passion for creating her own style developed where she explored abstract painting and fell in love with the process of abstraction and flow.

Joanne’s small but mighty piece called “True Romance” was my wedding gift to my husband. When he unwrapped it I heard him catch his breath, as I did the very first time I saw it. The piece has pride of place in our home and is the most-commented on work in our collection. I can’t wait to buy another piece of Joanne’s magic!

I bought beautiful pictures from the artist this year. I absolutely love the colours and find them quite mesmerising to look at. Early next year I am having a house renovation and I'll be in touch with the artist to commission a picture for my new kitchen, something eye catching that brings all the colours together. Aside from the quality of the work, all communication was straightforward and the art was delivered really quickly.
