We have worked with Joe Palumbo on two homes we have renovated, both historic properties that required a sensitive and thorough remodel. Joe listened to what our needs were and made sure we brought our home into the 21st century yet were respectful of the property's antiquity and historic provenance. From the initial planning phase, through the permitting process, down to the finishes, like window frames and door hardware, Joe was there to facilitate a smooth and successful project. Not only is a Joe a talented professional, but his thoughtful and mellow personality make him a joy to be around, that is why we are about to embark on our third renovation with Joe!

I had the great pleasure of working with Joe during the rebuild of my home. He is a gifted architect, with the ability to distill what a client says (and fails to say) into something of beauty that fits the client and the site perfectly. We took the house down to the studs, and Joe created something magnificent, making the process fun. He was very hands on and helped across the board with decisions on tile, fixtures, colors, as well as the bigger picture issues of layout and cost, always with an eye to how my family would use the home. Joe assisted in designing and overseeing the construction of more than one renovation/addition for me. He was skilled at redesigning a simple colonial as well as an extremely complex Frank Lloyd Wright mid-century modern. He is adept at problem solving, working within budgetary limits, and keeping the client's best interest first. I would recommend his services to anyone contemplating a renovation/addition, as well as new home builders.

With Joe Palumbo's vision and oversight we renovated my home, a 1934 construction in desperate need of a FULL gut renovation. Joe is a talented and detail oriented architect of the highest professional standard. The duty of care he took with all aspects of the project and his breath of knowledge was superb. Joe is highly committed and passionate about architecture and i would strongly recommend him to anyone in the Westchester and/or Fairfield county areas.
