Highly recommend Jonathan David Ltd Jonathan and the Team were recommended to us by a local Architect - they converted our garage into an amazing space. There was great communication all the way through the project.

Jonathan is an exceptionally good builder, and he and his team did an absolutely excellent job when carrying out an extensive renovation of our house. We are delighted with the end result and can't recommend him highly enough. Despite the challenges caused by covid and the uncertainties of dealing with an old building, he showed great professionalism and flexibility, always keeping us informed of progress and making sensible decisions and suggestions. Extremely reliable and trustworthy, and great attention to detail and clear communication as well.

The build quality was in my view perfect and the standard of workmanship was exceptional. This was reflected in the way they kept everything neat and tidy which can sometimes pose a problem in a small working area. The disruption was kept to a minimum. They took care in the build and were very competent and professional in their approach. There were only two minor faults in the build but were rectified within a day. My wife regards this garden room as being the perfect retreat (and has kept her sane!) during this period of "lock-down"where she can enjoy the views onto the surrounding fields while sowing and knitting. Would I recommend Jonathan David Ltd to do further work on my home? I would certainly say.... YES!

Jonathan David undertook the building of an extension, garage and renovation of the existing structure of a detached house I purchased in Swanage. Jonathan was recommended to me by both the estate agent who handled the sale of the house and the architect who drew up the plans for the extension. Understandably Jonathan David is heavily in demand for this type of work but it is well worth waiting for him to be available to undertake the work required. This company only takes on one project at a time. Jonathan David is a small local (Swanage) company in which Jonathan worked on the project full time along with another builder Paul. Both are skilled craftsmen. Jonathan and Paul provide a continuity and quality control as well as undertaking a major part of the work themselves. Jonathan hired in additional skills and/or capacity as required at various stages of the work. While undertaking the project management, Jonathan worked in a highly consultative way with me ensuring that the work undertaken met my objectives and requirements. This was particularly the case when unanticipated problems, of the type to be expected in the renovation of a 70 year old building occurred. Consultation regarding additional costs of such renovations were discussed and agreed before the work was undertaken. There are probably cheaper ways to undertake this sort of major work but it is hard to believe that any of these would have resulted in the high quality, bespoke results and attention to detail that I have obtained from this project. The work was completed on schedule. I am writing this rating some 9 months after the completion of the work which indicates my ongoing satisfaction with the quality of work undertaken.

Jonathan David Ltd., built a single storey extension for us and we have been delighted with their work. Jonathan finished the work two weeks earlier than he estimated and not far off the original quote. We found him and his team to be reliable ( with us every day Mon - Fri ), professional, courteous and clean. We were away for the work, but our neighbour remarked how they tidied the site up every day . They introduced themselves to our immediate neighbours before the work started, and explained they would keep noise to the minimum as much as possible. The work was completed to a high standard and we wouldn,t hesitate to recommend this company.

Our job was finished to a high standard, ahead of schedule and met the original estimate.All work was organised, clean and tidy.For us the most important factor was the personal consideration shown to us whilst work was taking place.Any issues arising were met with an immediate response or visit even at weekends.

We took on Jonathan David Ltd to knock through our existing kitchen/dining room wall to create a new kitchen diner. This also required the removal and updating of an old bay window and the creation of a feature TV wall. We are delighted with the finished project and could not recommend Jonathan and his team more. Jonathan was meticulous in his planning and gave us confidence to go ahead with quite invasive work. Both Jonathan and Paul were appreciative of the unavoidable disruption and made sure we were happy at the end of each day. Indeed, any unforeseen obstacles were imaginatively overcome. Where we feel Jonathan David Ltd outshines other builders is in that Jonathan both builds well, and is equally energetic and full of ideas in the finishing touches at the end of the project, that we, the customers are left with. We love the finishing extras that were suggested in the TV wall, the creative lighting and the feature bulk head ideas etc. Having builders in your home is always intrusive, but Jonathan and Paul were thoughtful and considerate and we remain delighted with their work. We can recommend them with confidence.

From the moment ground was broken until the last screw was tightened we have nothing but praise for this very professional, dynamic team! No task was too challenging or out of their scope of expertise. From on the job design tweaks, to last minute client lead changes!! From messy groundwork to fine joinery, nothing phased them at all. This was a back to brick project. All progressed without a hitch. Thank you guys!

Jonathan always gave absolute attention to detail, as if he was doing the work on his own house. He always remained calm, even at times when I changed my mind repeatedly or felt anxious. Jonathan works with an extremely knowledgeable and hardworking team.

Jonathan virtually rebuilt a listed building for us. He is highly competent, innovative and works to the highest standards. We were delighted with the result and I recommend him without reservation.

Very pleased with my kitchen. Jon always arrived on time & only finished one day schedule even though unforseen issues arose when striping old kitchen out. Quality workmanship & would recommend Jon & his team.
