Jonathan Wild Gardens

We moved to our new home in July 2020 and our small walled rear garden had a large fish pool, a water feature and lawns, while we preferred to have flower beds, borders and a smaller grassed area. Jonathan Wild was recommended to us by a couple whose garden had been transformed by him. Jonathan was a delight to work with. He took time to get to know us and understand what we wanted to achieve and produced designs which he developed so that we ended up with a garden that reflected our wish to have attractive plants and flowers and a good deal of privacy. It was also a practical solution that is very comfortable to live with and should be easy to maintain. We are extremely pleased! Jonathan also introduced us to a landscaping team that did the hard landscaping work. They shared the same work ethic that he has and also proved to be easy to work with and extremely reliable. As we had the entire back garden effectively dug-up and relaid with hard and soft landscaping, being able to rely on Jonathan as the designer and the landscaping team removed a lot of the concerns we may have had. His design reflected exactly what we wanted to achieve and his considerable knowledge of plants and shrubs greatly helped us when planning and planting the beds. He gave us great confidence and we would strongly recommend him.

Jonathon came up with some imaginative and creative solutions for our very average garden. We wanted to attract more wildlife and he made some great suggestions about creating privacy using natural screening. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jonathon who is thoughtful and v personable.

We had a rough idea of the garden we wanted and drew a sketch. Jonathan was able to refine this and make improvements. The men which he used to do the work, Bryan Quick and Bob , were excellent and we are now delighted with our new garden. Sue & Richard

Jonathan listen and understood what we wanted, looked carefully at the site and aspect, produced ideas for further discussion and produced a final plan with whoch we are very happy. He was very easy to work with, the whole experience was positive.

He has helped us immensley in getting our new garden started, designing a fabulous bespoke green house and more recently, designing a perfect site for a North facing shady area which will look wonderful and we will send a photo once it is all planted up.
