About Us

I have recently retired from Ethan Allen after 17 great years. You may email me directly at jsinwi@hotmail.com. Joe has a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is an associate member of the Interior Design Society (IDS). He had been an Ethan Allen Design Consultant since 2002. Joe takes an individual approach to his professional design service, helping his clients discover, refine, and realize their own dreams for their homes’ interiors. He sees his job as helping his clients make the best choices for the way they want to live in their homes and makes the process fun and easy. In 2004, Joe was recognized for superior design and service when he was awarded membership in the Local Circle of Excellence by Ethan Allen Chairman, President and CEO, Farooq Kathwari. He also speaks Spanish and has lived and traveled in Latin America.

Furniture placement, furniture selection, fabric selection, carpeting and accessories were all part of our process, and we could not be happier with our remodeled living room. Joe worked with us to furnish the living room of our1930’s lake home. Joe possesses keen listening skills and a relaxed mannerism was my first impression. These traits made the process fun and relaxing. With a magazine article that I provided and a visit to our home Joe moulded our lifestyle, personality and vision into a living room decor that reflects our style and is a pleasure to relax in. Joe shared in our excitement as we selected the right fabric, furniture and tables. Then he eagerly assisted with fireplace stone, wall color and carpet. The confidence we had in Joe’s ability allowed us to relax and enjoy this home project. The end product suites our style perfectly. The entire process was seamless.

Joe listened to what I liked, what I didn't like, and put together an awesome ensemble for the living and dining rooms of our new lake home. I wanted "cottage chic" with traditional elegance to entertain comfortably. I am so happy - it's beautiful and so comfortable!! He is terrific to work with.
