MOD is a boutique Home Design Studio located in Hudson, Ohio's First & Main shopping district that offers a complete modern design experience. Specializing in full-service Residential Interior Design and Home Furnishings, we provide space planning, locally-sourced custom furnishings and lighting, design + color consultations, window treatments, carpet and rugs, case goods, and accessories. Voted as Akron-Canton's Best Furniture Store since 2014, our expert staff focuses on unparalleled, personalized interior design service to create a space that is beautiful, functional, meaningful, and totally YOU. MOD's owner, John and Julie Pawlowski, are dedicated to providing quality products alongside personalized service. As an artist, Julie has always been passionate about helping others bring art and design into their home. With a staff of knowledgable interior designers, MOD is able to make sure any project, big or small, is successful and completed efficiently.

I would highly recommend MOD:matter of design. A visit to her storefront is an experience of its own! It has a great vibe. Fun and fresh. The talented staff can give you the room of your dreams or you can just stop in and find a really cool accessory.. I always enjoy a visit to MOD.

Can’t say enough great things about Mod! Amazing decor, but beyond that is their incredible staff and thier owner, Julie! Julie is always willing to help, she is super talented and helped me create a living space I feel so good in! I couldn’t recommend them more! It’s a one stop shop for your home! If you haven’t, stop in today! Can’t wait to work on my next space!

A beautiful store with a great staff. We've made several purchases from MOD, with the owner, Julie, going above and beyond each time to make sure all details are considered in the custom furniture they offer. We couldn't be happier with the quality and uniqueness of each piece! They have a great selection of home accents as well, everything from candles to artwork to original cards. Love this store!

Wow what can I say! My home looks amazing because of MOD and Monica! Quality quality quality plus some! I am complimented constantly and people ask to use my home to have their parties and special occasions on a regular basis. They are so wonderful to work with and take care of everything. I will only work with them now and their designs!

I partnered with MOD on a client living room design. My client and I were working on a family/great room design for their new home. After looking at other local and national retailers as well as online options, the client chose to go with custom Norwalk furniture from MOD, who is the exclusive dealer in Northeast Ohio. The service I receive from Monica, Jen and Brian is always excellent and very professional. MOD is a delightful shop in Hudson, Ohio chock full of modern and eclectic furniture, lighting, and accessories. They also highlight an impressive gallery of fine art and prints. It's a great place to take clients to pursue and gather inspiration. I highly recommend MOD to my clients and friends looking for a unique interior design store.
