J. Varno Painting

Joe Varno transformed our "multi-use room" (library, office, dining room) into a tranquil, beautiful, sunny dining room. Our house is a Cape Cod built in 1945. The room Joe restored originally had worn-out, browning-on-the-edges blue paint on three walls and ratty wall paper on one wall. There were vertical cracks in the corners of the room, and the ceiling was yellowed with all sorts of micro cracks. When Joe was finished with the room, it took my breath away. He really pays attention to detail and never cheaps out. It is our favorite room (for now). Joe is coming back this winter! I can't wait... Joe's next project at our house was the beautifying of the original door of the house. He sanded, sealed and painted it lilac in color. How we do enjoy that door! The whole neighborhood enjoys it. Joe is hardworking, reliable, and honest.

I was so tired of using different people/companies to clean and stain my outdoor deck, never using the same one twice. That is, until Joe Varno was contacted! He is a hands-on owner and completed the work himself, with the help of his great colleagues. From the first phone call to him, he returned the call pretty much immediately, then came by to scope out the project, and gave our sad-looking deck into a beautiful new look! This is the first time in the 20 years we have lived in our home that it looks so great! His follow-up and clean-up was icing on the cake; putting all of our deck furniture back in place. I am now really looking forward to the next project Joe will be doing for us -- removing wallpaper in our dining room and giving it an update with new paint. Now that I have finally found someone who is so talented and dependable, Joe is someone I will recommend to everyone I know!
