Since I had such a pleasurable experience with Karen after remodeling my former home, I decided to hire Karen again with my new project of building a home. She was hands on from the beginning, from drawing out the home, to participating with selecting and designing all the cabinetry, fireplace drawings, tile work as well as furniture and unique and special lighting. She was even so thoughtful in putting up and purchasing a Christmas tree, wreath, ornaments and mantle accessories so that our house would be ready for the holidays. Nothing was spared. Karen is a pleasure to work with. She is highly organized, and conscious about cost. As our project comes to a close, I will miss her as she also has become a treasured friend. I recommend her highly!

I found Karen only through a web search and had no idea what it would be like to work with her. From the minute we met through the end of a fairly big renovation, Karen is a pleasure to work with. She is the consummate professional with a great eye for design. She learned my taste and tailored her recommendations to it. She found the contractor for the job and he was absolutely amazing - getting the job done on time and on budget. I do not live locally and Karen made everything a breeze even from across the country. Karen helped me update a home I recently purchased in Carbondale. She transformed a rather dark home into a warm and inviting place to live. Not only did she help with paint, new lighting, furniture and accessories, she also planned building a desk, window seat and garage cabinets. There is nothing she cannot do. She has also become a good friend. She is confident, honest and very organized. A real treasure in this industry.

It’s easy to be overwhelmed with the many choices of tiles, fixtures, etc. that a bathroom remodel can take on, but Karen’s creative approach and professional guidance made the whole process enjoyable. She made great use of the space and definitely worked with our budget.
