We recently completed our new home In North Nanaimo and we had the pleasure of working with Brad Richardson of Richardson Homes. We chose Brad from a number of builders we interviewed because he was confident , sincere and had a great deal of home building experience around the island. We were not dissappointed in our choice during any stage of the build. He listened carefully to what we wanted and made sure it was done correctly.He was always available to us and was on site regularly. He is a wealth of information and helped us solve a few problems we encountered with our finishing choices. He has very good trades people and builds a solid attractive house. Brad Richardson of Richardson Homes Ltd served as the general contractor in 2012 on the construction of our new home. Brad was one of five contractors that we interviewed as possible candidates. From the first time when we met Brad in 2011 at our empty lot to discuss the possibility of using his services his manner of operation was punctual, forthright, co-operative, and his years of knowledge and experience was clearly evident. This style of operation was evidenced throughout the construction process along with being honest, respectful and a strong team player. Richardson Homes was responsible for the complete construction of a new home. Brad used skilled and qualified sub trades, most of whom he uses repeatedly on his jobs. He expressed complete confidence in his sub trades and their quality work confirmed that confidence. His team of sub trades were respectful and considerate of each other as well as Brad Richardson. Brad successfully fostered a team atmosphere and encouraged us to discuss ideas or issues directly with the sub trade. Throughout the course of construction Brad and members of his team made several suggestions which we adopted for improving on the design, layout and visual perspective of the house. Although Brad was building two other new constructions and a renovation, he and his sub trades made us feel like our house construction was their priority. A construction budget quotation was provided by Brad as part of the contractor selection process. With the exception of some additional enhancements at our request, there was never any suggestion that the budget would be different from the quotation. Brad completed the project in accordance with his quotation provided prior to commencement - on time and on budget. The Richardson Homes Ltd team has been a pleasure to work with throughout the process of our home construction. Brad brings integrity to the construction industry. If we were to repeat the process of home construction in the future we would want Richardson Homes Ltd as a general contractor. I am currently outof town and do not have access to photos taken during the construction process. If this would be useful I can forward them when I return back to Nanaimo.

In 2010, I bought a. house that was built by Richardson Homes Ltd in 2003, precisely because I was impressed by the superior construction and attention to details. Since that time, I have employed this company to build a carport in 2011, to add a gas fireplace in 2012 and to remodel my kitchen in 2013. I am delighted with the workmanship and impressed by the professionalism and integrity of the contractor, his employees and all of sub-trades that have worked on my house. I would recommend them without reservation.
