About Us
LakeCity Woodworkers began as a drop in center for mental health consumers who identified Woodworking as a meaningful step in their recovery process. LakeCity Employment Services association was founded in 1982 to offer further employment support within the greater community. Today, LakeCity Woodworkers has already expanded 3 times in its current location and our woodworking and retail shops employ approx. 20 full time experienced staff working with 15-20 mental health consumers.
