LanChester Grill & Hearth

We are very pleased with LanChester Grill and Hearth. They installed a gas fireplace in our family room, where none existed before. It was a pleasure working with Sam and his team from the planning stage through the installation process. Sam’s knowledge of the fireplace and design was spot on! His staff was pleasant and thorough. I would highly recommend them.

Sam delivered excellent advice and service particular to our needs. Removed our old and ugly, never used, wood burning brick fireplace and hearth for new gas fireplace and doors with surrounding stone and floor level slate hearth. Could not be happier with the design, products, installation and new heating efficiency. In our house, this allows us to turn off the heater even on the coldest of days.

Sam and team removed our old gas fireplace and replaced it with a more efficent model. Sam and team were professional during the process. They were patient as we worked though trying to determine what we wanted, there were no pushy sales men. We were able to get the stone surround we wanted. All work was completed as expected and the workers were courteous and worked clean. They always cleaned up after work was completed. It was a wonderful experience. They even followed up after the stone work was completed to make sure the everything was working as intended. We would highly recommend Sam and team.

Sam and his staff are extremely helpful and courteous . I have an historical home and they were very sensitive to the fact that the end result was to look original as possible. Sam is very knowledgeable about old houses and their quirks. He made sure the fireplace was safe and his crew cleaned up great. All this was good because the next project involved the fireplace being the primary heat source for the home for 2 months in the middle of winter! I recommend Sam and his staff highly.

I had 3 estimates for replacing my wood burning fireplace with a natural gas burning fireplace. I selected LanChester Grill & Hearth because they seemed to know what they were doing. They were confident that they could save the current mantle (not that I wouldn't have wanted to replace it with stone...). In addition, they replaced the flu piping, ran the gas line, and pulled the old fireplace out from the outside of the house. There was no mess, workmanship was excellent, and cleanup was perfect. I can't say enough about this company. I now have a beautiful fireplace that I can easily operate. It's so nice and cozy in our 2-story family room now. Sam and the crew are the best! My husband and I are extremely happy with the results.

LanChester Grill & Hearth replaced our contractor grade pre-fab wood burning fireplace with a new more efficient and higher quality wood burning fireplace. They removed the old, installed the new, and put in a floor to ceiling stacked stone facade with a stone hearth and antique barn beam mantel. They did a great job and worked thru a few unexpected issues. We are thrilled with our new fireplace.

Sam at LanChester Grill and Hearth was fantastic to work with. We live about an hour and a half away from Lancaster, PA and were blown away by their displays in the showroom. We were looking for a linear fireplace, and none of the stores around us carried any. He came out to our home, figured out how to make it work in our basement with appropriate venting and his crew did the job in a little over 1 day. The stone I chose to use was thicker than usual, and they worked with me to set the frame, so it would look right. We couldn't be happier and now we actually use our finished basement all winter long.

LanChester replaced wood burning fire place, with a propane unit, new flue liner and chimney cap. Crew was great, very professional, neat, excellent quality. Would use again without hesitation.
