Lauren Haskett Fine Design is an award winning full service Interior Design firm based in Houston, Texas. Focusing on fresh and timeless designs, our team is able to craft inspiring spaces where attention to detail and innovative design solutions partner with enthusiastic service to our clients. Design principal and owner Lauren Haskett has the education and experience to guide clients through everything from building their "forever" home to remodeling their neglected Kitchen. Lauren believes in designing a home so that it betters the lives of those who live there. She also believes comfort and beauty are not mutually exclusive. An active member of the Houston design community, Lauren also co-founded the popular interior design blog, Material Girls. She is the recipient of the Paper City Magazine Design Award for "Best Residential Kitchen" and has served on numerous professional design panels. Lauren also served several terms as a board member for the gulf coast chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association.

I had the great opportunity to work with Lauren when we decided to remodel our kitchen. She definitely is a visionary, she took our french country kitchen and turned it into an amazing clean and modern space. She even won a kitchen design award for it. We loved working with her and would absolutely recommend her design services!

We first met Lauren when she came to our office building and helped us with updating our look. She worked so well with us that we selected her to help us with a Kitchen/Family Room/Laundry Room remodel. Our house is an older (1962) Houston home but Lauren helped us move walls and maximize every bit of space - and the traffic/work flows are more than we'd hoped for...and the colors are rich & gorgeous! Our guests always want to know who helped us because no details were left undone - she planned for everything. She also worked, planned and regularly met with our contractors and as well as visited us during the whole building phase - this was very helpful in getting everything done exactly like her plan drawings. Lauren made the project run smoothly, and we can't recommend her enough - whether it's a small office update or a major kitchen remodel!

I don't know where my house would be without Lauren! Her advice is invaluable and I completely trust what she recommends. Each time she advises me to take a design "leap of faith" (basically anything outside my rut) it ends up being my absolute favorite design element. She is an awesome resource and I end up handing out her name whenever people come see my house.

I hired Lauren to design a new kitchen for me in Houston. Lauren is a very talented designer. Very detail oriented and has a fresh, young design aesthetic. Our kitchen turned out better than we expected. Just beautiful and so smartly organized and functional. We recently sold our home and moved to Dallas. Our home sold in two hours because of the kitchen that Lauren designed. I have thought of flying Lauren to Dallas to help us with our new home. I could not recommend Lauren more highly.

Lauren is a pleasure to work with. I love her design for my home. I hired her as our designer when we were building our house. She really listened to what my husband and I wanted for our home. Her eye for colors and textures is amazing. She took my vague thoughts and desires and turned them into a beautiful design that is warm and really reflects my husband's and my style. She found unique and beautiful pieces from lighting to furniture. She made working with other vendors a breeze. She took care of scheduling and was always there for installations and deliveries. Her attention to detail made our house building experience a lot less stressful. I look forward to the opportunity to work with her again.

Lauren took our project from concept to the final hangings on the wall. We did a major home renovation including adding square footage to the living space, new kitchen, master bath and closet. Her passion for design was only exceeded by her professionalism and creativity. Her understanding of our likes and desires came through in the finish and she still exceeded our expectations. When it came time for our garden project we called Lauren to help with the finishes for it also. Our living space flows into the outside with one contiguous design.

Lauren guided me through an extensive remodel of the kitchen and bathroom of our 20 year old home. She helped me to develop my own ideas and thoughts about the spaces and then steered me through the many decisions required to make my dream kitchen and bath a reality. She was very sensitive to my budget and helped me to stay within scope without compromising the elegance and function that I was seeking. The cabinetmakers who interfaced with Lauren were very impressed with her knowledge of the details of the industry and the practicalities of design, manufacture, installation, and function. She paid attention to every detail of the project including CAD Design of the kitchen and bath lay-out, Design of the cabinets, a comprehensive paint plan, and even furniture and accessory placement. Not only did I end up with a stunning result, but I thoroughly enjoyed the process! My project was completed on time and on budget. Lauren was a pleasure to work with and I credit her with my joy at living in my remodeled home!
