About Us

The daughter of a 3rd generation marine vessel builder and an art teacher, Linsi has a deeply ingrained understanding of the relationship between the functional and the aesthetic. A native of Houma, Louisiana, Linsi harbors a great love of the Deep South. Its joie de vivre, Acadian, Spanish, and French influences have all enriched her unique design aesthetic – a passion from childhood. Linsi graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. In conjunction with her undergraduate programs, Linsi traveled and studied extensively throughout Greece and China with emphasis on architecture, design and art. Recently, she traveled extensively throughout Egypt for inspiration in architecture and color, focusing on the ancient techniques of textile fabrication and design. Linsi L. Cenac Interiors offers a full range of design services including design consultations to give you fresh ideas overall, individual room renovations to enliven a home, as well as completely new builds. She excels in giving her clients the end result they envision with the guidance and expertise to achieve that vision.

Linsi has directed in small and large projects. From choosing a beautiful area rug for the den, changing out the front porch light fixtures, suggesting paint colors, choosing bathroom flooring. We are just completing the renovation of the master bath. It is beautiful! She listens to what you want to accomplish and helps guide you. She will intervene with the craftsmen and take care of any issues that arise.

"Above and beyond", truly is the best way to describe Linsi! I have had Linsi come into my home several times over the past few years to help with projects. I have loved the way every project has turned out and I have loved working with Linsi. Linsi Cenac Interiors, LLC provided the highest quality of both design excellence and clientele service. She assisted us with our kitchen redesign and brought a timeless elegance to the room that transcended popular trend. Our kitchen will still be classically beautiful for years to come and we could not be more pleased with it.

Linsi, from start to finish was such a pleasure to work with. Not only did she bring my vision to life she brought it more to life than I could of ever imagined. She did such an amaxing job on my store, a year later I hired her to do my remodel of my home. Can't wait to see the finished project.. I would not hesitate to hire Linsi, she's professional, fair, responsible and has an amazing eye ( the list could go on) She's so talented I'm lucky to have found her.

Linsi was and still is a pleasure to work with. She was really open to ideas and my vision for the space but provided many helpful design concepts that fit my budget and desired end product. She was essential in helping sort out my own confusion of all my ideas and helped solidify them into something actionable. I have enjoyed the final product of both properties and I continue to receive compliments from anyone who visits the space. She helped determine room layout concepts, paint colors, lighting, stain for the floor, cabinet color and style and even designed the kitchen and helped in ordering some materials for the project. Her connections with other suppliers helped making getting reputable bids for much of the work super easy. I am continuing to work with Linsi on my own home renovation and hope to have many more projects in the future where we can partner.

Great designer and so easy to work with. Linsi has a great eye and the ability to mix different styles and trends cohesively. From Contemporary to Antique French to Modern to Classic, Linsi has you covered. She has helped me with both residential as well as commercial projects, and she always exudes a great professionalism and individual style of her own. She also listens to her client and knows what they want.

I can not say enough about my experiences working with Linsi Cenac of Linsi L. Cenac Interiors, LLC. She goes above and beyond for her clients to make sure every detail is perfect. When you think she has thought of everything, she comes up with another brilliant idea! She is extremely professional and always ahead of schedule with deadlines. She is able to come up with the best design for any and all budgets. If you use Linsi, you can rest assure that you won't have any worries! I have used her both on residential and commercial projects and she continues to impress myself and all of my clients!

Linsi helped me with my small business. She was very efficient and time conscious as we had to open on a certain date. She was helpful on everything from paint colors to fixtures. Great customer service and even better eye! Highly recommend.

My wife and I have used Linsi L. Cenac Interiors on multiple occasions at my office and my home, and her work always ends up top notch and shows well; plus, she is sensitive to budgets (which some designers aren't.) I would recommend Linsi L. Cenac Interiors to anyone needing residential or commercial interior help.

Linsi came to purchase several mirrors for a hair salon project. She was very sensitive to her clients financial constraints. She found mirrors of the correct style and size at a very reasonable price point. She customized the finish herself, and requested that her designer discount be given to her client. Her client has since come into the store on several occasions, and we have discussed working with Linsi. She showed me pictures of her salon which has an easy elegant style, and said that Linsi made the whole process very easy and fun. Linsi still has requests in for more mirrors of the same style in anticipation of her clients business growing.

Commented: What kind of loor is this?Hi Brandy, this is solid wood, unfinished reclaimed heart pine that we stained on site. This can be purchased through an antique wood dealer.
