Liz Freemont is a landscape architect and garden designer. A chartered member of the Landscape Institute and a Member of the Society of Garden Designers she is founder of Liz Freemont Landscape Architects based in Kent. Our approach is to design clean architectural space, identifying the big moves that will create the backbone for functional, quality spaces that will last. Fundamental to our designs are light and space, proportion, material and site context. We provide long term solutions with a focus on soil, earthworks, drainage, irrigation, wildlife control and shelter as the basis for long term success. We work to maximise simple spatial and architectural layouts with high quality materials and finishes with clear geometry and simple, bold planting. Our work is influenced by minimalism and modern aesthetic and we focus on clear spatial ordering and efficient site relationships.
