Landscape Lighting Design of NE LLC

We hired Landscape Lighting Design to propose, design, and install, low voltage lighting at our home as part of an improvement project after we had moved in that year. The objective was to highlight the home itself and the landscaping, especially from the street. Darrin did a fabulous job in all aspects. He created a design proposal, and discussed alternative options for us to consider. He had the vision, and all we needed to do was make some choices among the options he presented. The installation was flawless. We have been enjoying the lighting for the last year. Darrin is great to work with. He is very experienced, knowledgeable, and personable. What really stood out for us in this project, more than anything else, was his creativity. We highly recommend him.

Last year we invested in an in ground swimming pool at our home in York Maine. The project took approximately nine months to complete. We hired Darrin's company to install the landscape lighting for this project. He came to us via a recommendation from our landscaper. I have to say this was the best investment of our entire project. The folks that installed our pool and landscaping did an outstanding job however the work that Darrin did brought everything to life. We have received numerous comments on the lighting design and how it complimented the landscape design. Darrin is extremely professional, courteous and great to work with. With Darrin’s help, our multi-phase landscape lighting project obtained all the objectives, met our expectations, and then some. I feel very lucky to have worked with Darrin. I had an opportunity to see Darrin’s work at a neighbors and loved it. Darrin was great at listening to my ideas and provided his input which resulted in a great plan. We also considered the opportunity for phase 2 so we could stay in my budget initially for phase 1. Phase 1 was removing my out door light posts and lighting the front walk ways and driveway with both up lighting and down lighting. We considered winter as well as summer months. I have been enjoying this change for about a year and absolutely love coming home to the feel of a full moon every night. It always puts me in a good mood. The nice thing is that the lights turn on and off automatically so I never need to think about it. I also feel the lighting makes my house more secure. Phase 2 we added outdoor speakers to the back yard. The installation was perfect. Darrin makes sure everything is clean. The speakers project back to the house, the sound is amazing. I am writing this review listening to country music on the deck. Having the music outside makes me want to be out on my deck every night. So relaxing...... I am 100% satisfied and Darrin. What a pleasure to work with Darrin. He has a passion for lighting and it shows! We had a large outdoor project, putting in a new pool and hot tub. Even with a last minute change of plantings Darrin immediately switched gears and brought in back lighting that is just beautiful. We look forward to having him back to the light up the front yard!
