It has been 2 months since our new loft was completed, and we couldn't be happier with the result. It is a non-trivial split level loft design with a main room that has cupboards for hanging space, and a lower level which is dedicated to what is now the main bathroom of the house. Hugh, from LoftCraft made the whole process, from the original quoting through to the finished product as painless as it could be. We appreciated that he listened to what we were after from the outset. His evidently significant experience in the building trade, meant that he could immediately and happily address all our upfront concerns with the project. The execution was great. LoftCraft brought on board a great building team. We knew we were in good hands when Gjulio and/or Taulant and Festim were on site. They did the majority of the work between them. We don't think we met the plumber, but we were impressed with the way he was able to connect to the existing water and central heating with no disruption and a seamless repair one day whilst we were at work. It is worth mentioning that we lived in the property for the entire project (save a 2 week holiday near the end of the build). We also brought onboard a bathroom designer, after checking that their terms were compatible with LoftCraft's. We were really impressed with how LoftCraft and the building team were able to incorporate this and work well with the designer. We can strongly recommend this team to anyone. We are planning to use their services again for remaining renovations to the house.

We hired Jack and his team to build our loft conversion in early 2023. The communication from Jack was excellent and he went through all the plans prior to work starting so there were no surprises. Once work began Chris and Mirek were very responsive and involved us in all decisions. Loft Craft completed an extension and downstairs rebuild on our house at the beginning of this year. We couldn’t be happier with both the service and quality of work that we received. Jack, Krzysiek, Mirek and the rest of the team are fantastic professionals and real experts in what they do. As well as getting the basics right, they anticipate any potential issues or required decisions ahead of time and are happy to provide options and recommendations if needed. The whole team are considerate when working on site, they communicate well and are happy to go over and above e.g. they repaired our side gate even though we didn’t ask them to. All of them worked really hard on the job and you can see that they take pride in what they do. The ultimate question is whether we would recommend them to others or use them again. The answer to both those questions is yes.

We had our attic converted by LoftCraft and cannot recommend them highly enough. Jack was always at the end of phone calls / emails / WhatsApp messages whenever we had queries, and was accommodating to amends. E.g. changing our minds from a window to a Juliet balcony mid-build. We had what was entirely unused space converted into a new master bedroom and en-suite and couldn't be happier with the result, or the process. They were not the cheapest (nor the most expensive) option, but were 100% the correct choice. Everything we were told would be done, was done, and by the time stated; which really helped with the stress as we were living in the house whilst the work was being carried out. Perhaps not ideal over winter but the clear and accurate information did a lot to mitigate the worries. The crew - shout out to Roma - were incredibly hard working, professional and considerate. Turning up at 8am on the dot every day without fail, and putting in a full shift every day. They even managed to work around our cats, respecting our request to not let them out the front door. How you get building materials in and out through a front door without letting cats out I will never know, but I am glad they did it. We live in a terrace and both sides were doing similar building work with other firms, which going into it was a cause for concern - but Jack handled a lot of the conversations with their builders and co-ordinated work on 3rd party walls etc. I'd definitely select them for work again, should the opportunity arise.

Loftcraft have done a brilliant job with our loft conversion and we highly recommend them. Jack listened really carefully to what mattered to us about the project and prioritised those elements from the beginning to completion. He communicated really well throughout, managed our expectations, problem solved and was transparent. The team on the ground were led by Volodymyr and they were excellent. LoftCraft London have been outstanding to work with. Due to my inexperience, I was very careful in my initial selection and sought out a team with a track record, as well as a project manager whom I felt was trustworthy, professional, with enthusiasm for the work. My Project Manger was Hugh; he is polite, diligent, and ever helpful with his vast experience and advice in navigating the complexities of my large loft development project. He works with an extremely hard working, very friendly, and totally professional group of builders, led by Gabi. Between Gabi and Hugh, LoftCraft transformed a derelict, dingy loft into a luxury, one-bed self contained flat within six months. It can be daunting to embark on a development project with no prior experience but LoftCraft is set up to assist throughout the entire process - from Party Wall agreements to assisting the design of the bathroom. Hugh will connect the plans with the builders (through Gabi), and Gabi will offer his hard won experience to advise on practical aspects of the build; a terrific team to work with. Communication throughout the process was seamless, with a WhatsApp group formed between Hugh, Gabi, and I. I would regularly text my questions seeking advice (from designs to flooring) and a helpful answer would always be provided. The payment mechanism was simple, fair and effective - in accordance with the contract but with flexibility where I wanted additional features added or changed. The experience was a pleasure and I am thrilled with the results, the photos speak for themselves. Thanks Hugh, Gabi, and your team, it was brilliant to have you work on this development.

LoftCraft recently completed our loft conversion. We are extremely pleased with how everything went from start to finish. Hugh and the team were extremely efficient and also guided us on each step of the project which was exactly the service we wanted. Would highly recommend and use again.

Jack and his team (a special mention to Mitch, our on-site manager, who is one of the kindest human beings and I never felt like he was intruding in our space) finished our loft extension in May last year and honestly I cannot recommend them enough. Jack is highly organised, responds to emails at any time of the day and comes with great knowledge, huge amounts of patience and calmness. The whole team were incredibly accommodating even with all our extra demands (like ripping out the carpets in the whole house and then laying the new wooden floor to an incredibly high spec, even though that wasn’t part of the loft conversion project.) The finish of the loft conversion is impeccable and we are thoroughly enjoying the extra two rooms, one of which is a guest bedroom and office and the other is a sewing room for all my fabrics. Considering how cold it is at the moment, we don’t have to heat the rooms all that much, as they are insulated so well and it keeps the rest of the house a lot warmer too. We had heard so many bad stories of building companies leaving mid project and were utterly scared choosing the right ones, so we met with a number of companies, and my gut instinct was right from the first time we met Jack. Highly highly recommend!

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys! We actually began our loft plans with an architecture firm – in hindsight, we'd have definitely come to LoftCraft straight away (if we’d known about them from get-go), as they can handle everything under one roof. Right away they demystified the whole process. They gave a clear proposed/indicative price breakdown, including stages of works, and delivered accordingly with clear communication throughout. We're extremely happy with our gorgeous new loft bedroom, ensuite and beautiful spacious roof terrace - it's transformed our first floor flat! From our first meeting Hugh was extremely approachable and helpful, and Gabi and his team did a brilliant job on the building front; good attention to details, nice guys, super-reliable/punctual and skilled (special shout-out to Gabi in that regard, who was a dream to work with!). They also decorated and made built-in wardrobes, enabling us to move our stuff straight in once it was complete. Any inevitable bumps or delays (chiefly for things like delivery of bespoke glazing, which was obviously beyond their control) were handled without fuss. Also my partner and I have very full-on day jobs, which meant that we needed longer to choose tiles etc sometimes, but Hugh and Gabi worked round it no problem. When we purchased our first home, we opted for something we liked but which required a lot of work to make it habitable, it had the potential for extension and we could do it the way we wanted it. So we have decided to undertake that work before moving in. I reached out to Jack, purely based on his online reviews. And I have also spoken to 3 other different building companies. In the end my reasons for opting for LoftCraft were simple - common sense, patience, consideration for specific requirements, pace, quality promise, and a competitive quote. This was a unique loft extension project - full re-roofing, a hip to gable alteration, rebuilding existing dormers, and adding two more dormers. We've added a bathroom upstairs, added space to existing rooms, created one additional room, while retaining the feel and style of the original house as much as we could. That was one of my primary requirements - to retain the aesthetics of the house. It's so common unfortunately these days to add (literally) a box on top of the house and call it an extension, it hurts my eyes. Now, I will be honest, in the process we have encountered some surprises which understandably an old house would throw at you. We also had to factor in some changes along the way because of my requests. All this was dealt with by Jack and the team in a professional manner and with that characteristic calm that Jack brings to a job and that you can read in most reviews here. It's worth adding as well, this was right when covid hit, and it being a challenge in itself, it was an insanely busy period for builders! I forgot to mention, my brief was to re-model the loft only, however Jack and his architect have come up with practical ideas for the ground floor too, and I ended up doing more work to the benefit of more light and comfort in our house. What I found to be most compelling about Jack and his team, was no matter what the challenge or requirement was, there was this genuine intent to go the length of getting to a concluding and satisfactory resolution for the client, from day one to the very end. With the hindsight, and one year after moving in, I am very happy with the work done and completed by Jack and his team, and would confidently and with no hesitation recommend his services.

Hugh, Mirek, Chris and the team did a great job with our small ground floor flat extension. We had the plans drawn up separately, but Loftcraft were able to pick them up after another builder fell through. We love the extra space that we now have and really appreciate the high quality of the build. The team even came back after a few months to resolve a snagging issue that had developed after they had finished. The team were very flexible with which aspects we did ourselves and we’re always happy to give advice when we were unsure. As we were living elsewhere sometimes we felt communication, particularly around progress could have been more frequent but this was only a minor concern as all in all they did a great job.

Loftcraft have done an amazing job on our loft conversion. Despite the challenges of COVID and our house being grade 2 listed the results have exceeded our expectations. Every single member of the team was friendly and polite and Jack was extremely patient with all my extra questions and queries! All our neighbours who have had loft conversions were impressed with the speed and efficiency with which or work was carried out. We would highly recommend Jack and his team.

I was looking for a loft conversion with a view to having a study, spare room and second bathroom installed. I had never done anything like this before so needed to ensure I fully trusted whoever I chose to support me through the process. Hugh and the team were excellent from the start, advising and keeping me informed at all steps of the way. The whole thing was completed efficiently and to time and I was really happy with the standard of workmanship throughout. I worked with Jack and Eddie earlier in the spring on a dormer extension. From the get go LoftCraft and their builders: Mario and team, provided a fantastic, tailored service. As with any build there were a few bumps along the way, especially if you live in an old property like mine, but the team were great, managing expectations and being very calm under pressure. Jack and his team did a full renovation on my flat in Stockwell. They added a terrace, did a loft conversation, and fit a new kitchen. Jack was flexible to changes throughout the project and the builders and team on the site were extremely nice and considerate, very tidy too - especially as I was living in the downstairs flat throughout the build. We decided to use LoftCraft for our rear and loft extension. Based on architectural drawings they created an open plan living and dining area and a lovely loft space in our Victorian Terraced house in South Wimbledon. Throughout the project LoftCraft communicated with us when it came to payments, ordering of materials and instructed the builders according to our wishes. We had weekly meetups on-site and always felt understood, taken seriously and professionally treated. There was never a doubt that they would get the job done according to our expectations. There are always challenges to be expected when you work on an old Victorian house; they found safe and cost effective solutions for us and helped us making the right long term decisions. We could not recommend LoftCraft more highly. We have recently finished a dormer loft on our bungalow in South East London and absolutely love our new loft. If you are thinking about getting a loft conversion you will be in safe hands with LoftCraft! From the beginning Jack was amazing, we got quotes from a lot of different conversion companies and found Jack not only to be price competitive but also to have the most personal touch. He really listened to what we were after and gave helpful advice from the start - the other companies who gave quotes felt like they just wanted to do a bog standard dormer, rather than really listening to what we were after. Jack was also great at working out the best location for the stairs, to maximise the space upstairs and minimise the impact downstairs. We were nervous about the build starting, as we were both majority working from home and the stairs were going into our current bedroom - so it was recipe for a lot of stress! I am so glad that we hired LoftCraft to complete our extension in Kingston upon Thames. Loftcraft have just completed works at our house in Twickenham - building a large two bedroom loft and taking care of renovations on the first floor. We couldn't have been happier with Jack and his team. From the very first quote to completion of the work the experience was fantastic. Jack was brilliant at talking us through the process, everything in his proposals and contracts was described in detail which helped avoid ambiguity and surprises along the way. Loftcraft built us a loft conversion on our London terraced property and also replaced another bathroom. They provided a professional and friendly service throughout and helped us understand the process as we had no previous experience of such work. The planning, design and build phases were all done very efficiently with good support from the project and site managers. They contained the mess and disruption well even with us living in the property throughout and not being able to have a skip outside. The decoration and finishing off phases were slow but of very high quality in the end. Overall we were delighted with the result and would definitely use this company again.
