Lora McKinnon

Lora McKinnon was integral to the complete renovation and expansion of our home. She worked closely with us on the overall floorplan design and finish selections and stayed with us through construction to ensure the final product was what we had been envisioning during the design process no matter what our contractor encountered at the site. For design decisions, Lora listened to what both my husband and I wanted (which was not always the same) and made insightful suggestions. She navigated well the difficult waters of a couple who were, at times, overwhelmed by the number of decisions the project required. Throughout the process, Lora always kept us focused on the big picture--helping us make decisions that would be consistent with how we would live in the home, keep the design cohesive, and stay within our budget and construction schedule, while encouraging us to consider unique finishes and design elements that really enhanced our home. Lora’s approach to our project was the perfect combination of practicality and creativity and we could not be happier with the final result.

Lora has an eye for decor and reality! I love that she listens, asks questions and then makes suggestions. I consulted with Lora about my flooring and knowing the fact that I have kids, animals and a high traffic area, she pointed me to a different direction. What I love about Lora is she designs with practical living yet incorporates some wow features. Her designs are always impressive and her personality is upbeat, knowledgeable, and attentive. She is a true pleasure to design with!!
