The office staff and onsite crews were very professional and easy to work with, seeking our input every step of the way, and explaining their work as they went along. We had a great experience with the team. From the designer and design partners to the construction crew, everyone was professional, easy to work with and delivered an amazing bathroom renovation. During construction the work area was kept clean and the housekeeping visits were a nice touch to minimize the dust throughout the rest of the house. We appreciated the clear communication and attention to detail throughout the project, particularly when dealing with a 100+ year old Baltimore rowhouse. Kudos to Maria and Louren and their team!

Lauren and his team are ultimate professionals. They work efficiently and the results are perfect. In addition to the work we had contracted I mentioned that my wife and I could not turn off the water to our refrigerator without pulling the refrigerator out. They agreed to look at the situation and said they could add a shut off valve in the cabinet next to our refrigerator. The team made it easy for us to turn off the water to our refrigerator in an emergency. The guys did a great job very quickly. It was extremely generous of Federal Kitchen to include this service at no additional cost to our original project. There is no doubt that this company is the choice for any home improvement projects.

Bathroom and hallway renovation. Great planning and suggestions. Good guidance through the selection phase. When the work began, they were very professional and as non-intrusive as possible. Federal Hill Kitchen recently completed a kitchen renovation at my home in Stevensville, Md. They performed incredibly from start to finish. From the design concepts to final product delivery, with a tough and mind changing customer, me, they were professional, timely and detailed. Dan Levin put together a design that integrated my original design concepts with functional and aesthetic improvements as shown in the picture below. Victor and his team of installers were true craftsmen with attention to attention to detail not often seen. They cleaned up multiple times per day concurrent with the execution of their work. My wife, a detailed person was thoroughly impressed with their work. I would recommend their team without reservation. They were refreshing to watch and work together on our project.

We have used Federal Hill Kitchen and Bath for a number of projects in our home - master bathroom and closet, first-floor powder room, master bedroom, office and most recently our kitchen and butler's pantry. We live in a historical home that has a lot of "quirks" and they have been a key partner in helping us lovingly restore our home keeping the historical architecture and charm while at the same time modernizing it. The project/construction team is amazing and dependable. They take great pride and care in their work and treat the house as if it is their's. Given that the house is over 125 years old, we uncovered structural issues along the way. Louren takes time to assess the issue, discuss options and is solution oriented. I totally trust them. What is most impressive is the follow-up after the project. They want to make sure you are happy with the completed project and follow-up on any punch list items in a timely manner. I appreciate that they don't commit to starting a new project until the current projects is completed to satisfaction I highly recommend them.

We couldn't have been happier with the work that Federal Hill Kitchen, Bath & Closest did for us. We had a master bath/dressing room renovation that involved completely removing the existing flooring and closets. FHKB&C assisted us every step of the way with sensitivity to our style, concern for our needs and budget, and incredible attention to detail. They also did a great job covering the path from the entrance to the 3rd floor work site before construction started, and cleaning up after themselves every day. These guys are the very best!!! My kitchen still looks brand new after 6 years. They said 6 weeks to do my kitchen and in 6 weeks they were finished. Everyday they left my kitchen spotless. They were very prompt, polite and efficient. After 6 years, I called them with a faucet/hose leak and they came out the same day. Mann, that is service. Money well spent! I hired Federal Hill KB&C for a complete kitchen overhaul. The project included demo work, design, cabinetry, several new appliances, tiling, lighting, etc. The team at Federal Hill was professional and courteous throughout the project. Items were completed in a timely fashion and most importantly, the attention to quality and detail was of the highest level. So many times I've seen projects with poor finish work (molding doesn't line up, lines aren't straight, cabinet pulls are crooked, etc.) That is not the case here. Everything was perfect. I also appreciated the frequent communication regarding project timeline and the frequent discussions that occurred to make sure all details were taken care of. Sub-contractors were similarly professional and courteous. Bottom line, I would hire Federal Hill again and plan to do so for additional renovations in the future.

This job involved the gutting and remodeling of the kitchen, pantry and laundry room of a hundred year old home in Baltimore, Maryland. Every detail of this job was done professionally from design, craftsmanship, problem solving to punch list detail. Louren Reddick, the general contractor, was involved at every step, including finding solutions to various problems discovered along the way: rerouting water pipes, relocating electrical wiring, finding the source of and solutions to water damage problems, leveling uneven floors, solving a 'cold room' problem and others. Dan Levin, the designer, was very creative, and went through countless drafts with me until we found the right one. He also helped with needed changes along the way. The workmen assigned to our project, Ross and Victor, are true craftsmen, including the tile work on the floors and backsplashes, the carpentry on the windows and door frames, the alignment of cabinet doors and handles and many other little touches. We had asked that our old cabinets be relocated to the garage, and they were able to fit all of them in a creative way that gives us both storage and workspace. Although I'm sure Federal Hill would be great in newer homes as well, they are perfect for anyone with an old house and the myriad of problems they can create. There was price transparency throughout the project, and although the necessary change orders along the way were costly, they improved the project and solved several other problems we had. I highly recommend Federal Hill to anyone considering kitchen remodeling.

Federal Hill did an AMAZING job on our kitchen renovation. We had a pretty big job for them. We removed a load bearing wall and vaulted the ceiling so it was quite a bit of structural work along with the kitchen design. I love that Louren is so meticulous with his jobs and will do whatever it takes to get the job done correctly. Everybody we've dealt with has been awesome. Our job lasted a bit over 3 months. Ross and Victor were the men working on our kitchen and they were wonderful. I think our dogs miss them. Maria did the kitchen design. We really like the layout she designed for us. We made a few minor changes during the remodel and they all worked out nicely. They are very flexible when things aren't looking like the picture in your mind and are very willing to make changes. Their work is meticulous and they stand behind the work they do. There were little hiccups as there always are with any remodel and they were dealt with right away. I highly recommend Federal Hill Kitchen & Bath. I wish they did work in other areas too. I would hire them for any job that I needed to have done.

Louren and his team recently did a major renovation of our house over a 2 month period. They needed to tear down a central wall and bring everything down to the studs and reinstall everything from electrical to plumbing to the HVAC to the drywall. They did an excellent job throughout and the end result looks very professional. We chose them originally because the original design that Maria and Louren created brought in some very unique and clever elements. They came up with the idea of incorporating the load bearing elements into the central island creating the open space design that we desired. The execution of the plan went very smoothly despite the invariable adjustments that were needed for such a large project. In addition, they were very flexible and allowed us some freedom in making changes to the design when some things like the paint color we chose ourselves didn’t quite look the same on the walls as we expected or we wanted some of the vent locations changed as the chosen locations didn’t meet the aesthetics we wanted His team is very friendly. They are incredibly clean and leave a neat job site at the end of every day. They were respectful of our neighbors. Louren had an impressive punch list after the major work was done in order to have the end product meet his own high standards (which was higher than my own standards as he noticed small details that I would have easily missed). Thank you for all your hard work. We love the house.

This was our third project with Federal Hill KBC. Despite the challenges of 2020, we moved forward with a major structural renovation of our kitchen/DR, creating a wonderful new integrated space for gathering, cooking, and relaxing. This involved removing a structural wall, fabrication and installation of a steel beam to carry the load, laying a new floor with a large format tile, installation of all new appliances, installation of a large island with waterfall edge quartz countertop, and new cabinetry. Existing structural ceiling beams prevented the use of a standard range hood, but they cleverly installed a downdraft ventilation system which stays out of sight behind the new range until needed. In the DR, FHKBC custom-built a beautiful banquette and new cabinets for seating and storage. We now have seating at the island, as well as the banquette, and a lovely window seat with storage below. This reno solved or eliminated all the major problems of our old kitchen, and met all our goals for the project. From our first design meeting to the final item on the punch list, Louren’s team has been superb. We recommend them without hesitation, and completion of our third project with them has reinforced our high opinion of their ethic, craftsmanship, and value.

I had a master bath renovation, inclusive of moving the shower. Louren and his team were on time, polite, neat, and responsive. I’m a neat freak and they handled that with weekly cleanings. We recently worked with Federal Hill Kitchen and Bath to do a complete remodel of our condo's master bathroom. The personal touch and attention to detail was outstanding and impressive. Their designer sat with us over the course of many long sessions to sketch, develop and revise impeccably precise and beautiful hand-drawn blueprints. The "old-school" attention to detail will renew your faith in small business. Rather than use subcontractors, they use their own small but dedicated team of craftsmen, which avoids communication problems and makes the remodeling process run more smoothly. Our design required that they completely gut the bathroom and solve multiple design issues such as reinforcing a load bearing beam in the master bedroom. The outstanding professionalism even extended to sending in a cleaning crew twice during the project to clean our entire house! We are extremely happy with the outcome of this project and look forward to using them for future remodeling projects.

Hired originally to do a kitchen remodel, other structural issues presented themselves as the work progressed. Those issues required FHKB&C to coordinate engineers, roofers and masons on short notice AND in the middle of winter! All of the work, including the unexpected, was done professionally and on a few occasions, people worked on the weekend to meet deadlines. The crews were always courteous and responsive to me and respectful of my home and the neighborhood.
