Majic Painting and Remodeling

I had SUCH a wonderful experience working with Jayson, Andrea, Dave, and the other folks at Majic Painting that I have hired them TWICE in one month and cannot wait to work with them again! First of all, my husband is a carpenter/contractor and holds work to a high standard. We own rentals in town and are used to doing all of the work ourselves, but when prepping our home to sell we ran out of time and needed help completing some painting projects. I had many companies out to bid on painting - Majic Painting was VERY reasonably priced and I immediately felt they were the best ones for the job. Majic Painting jumped in and got to work on some wood trim, doors, walls, and even a fireplace a few weeks later. Dave and his crew were so personable, professional, knowledgable, and easy to work with. Dave was very responsive to questions and was good about double checking if something was unclear. I had two young kids in the house while they worked and felt completely comfortable with them there. Not only did they do a superb job, but they were careful to clean up after themselves and worked quietly around nap schedules, kid tantrums, and mealtimes. Fast forward a few weeks and we needed help again completing some exterior painting and kitchen cabinet painting. Our timeline shifted quickly and we needed these items done ASAP. Jayson (the owner) personally reached out and found time in their schedule to prioritize these projects. Dave and his crew were here again this week to complete the work, and I felt comfortable leaving everything in his capable hands while I ran the kids around town. I came home to beautifully painted cabinets and could not be happier. I can't wait to hire Majic Painting again for our rental properties and our next home. Really, I thought my husband was a good painter, but these guys are PROS. They use great products, cut beautifully, and use the best techniques. We learned a lot from them! SO happy to have found this business and will recommend them to EVERYONE!

His knowledge of paints, his experience, his easy manner and dedication to great service, all made for a great experience. He & his very fast & professional crew painted our house exterior. My partner and I used Majic Painting & Remodeling for our kitchen remodel and could not be happier! Having been through a messy remodel with another contractor before (to some not-so-good results), I must say I am so pleased and relieved to have finally found a great remodeler in the Portland area. My kitchen drastically needed an update. I received about 6 quotes to begin my decision making process and decided to go with Mike (whose bid was about the middle of all the quotes) because he really took the time to elaborate on the entire process and it really showed that his expertise was remarkable. At our initial meeting, Mike told me it would take about 5-6 weeks (most likely 6) from start to finish. I'm happy to say that that's exactly what it took. They did their best to make sure my kitchen was available to my family with exception to one day, and even then they provided me a gift card for my family to eat out! It was so unexpected but very much appreciated! I was pleased to see that Mike oversaw our day-to-day operations. He really seemed to care about the quality of work, was at the project site daily to check on the progress and was always reachable by phone whenever I had a question (and I had many). Mike oversaw everything: Demo of the kitchen (they were very clean and hauled away the trash the same day), plumbing, new countertops, new floors,installation of all new fixtures, new windows, new cabinets, and Jayson took care of painting and cleanup throughout . The workers were all on time every day -- every single one of them (from demo to the plumbers to the fantastic tile guys) were professional and great to work with. And their quality of work was top notch. I was particularly impressed with the painting team. They really took their time to make sure everything was meticulous and the results really show. All in all, I have definitely found my go-to guys for any renovations I'd like in the future. Thanks Mike, Jayson and your entire team for a JOB WELL DONE! Next up, the bathroom!

I've seen Majic Painting (Jayson) go the extra mile for his clients over the last two years that I've worked with him. He's always making sure his clients get what they signed on for. Andrea is the most amazing office support and if you're lucky you get to meet little Grayson, the newest Majic employee, sure to put a grin on your face for the rest of the day!!

We used Majic Painting to repaint our golden oak built-ins in 3 rooms to an updated, fresh white. Jayson, the owner, is knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. Alyssa and Jesus, the two painters during the projects, were great at what they do. They made sure to prep the workspace and clean up well. This is a pleasant, professional team. They were very flexible, completed the projects at date promised and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Attention to detail, and dedication are two attributes that deserve praise especially when they come bundeled with professionalism and thoughtfulness . Majic painting is working their Majic on this project where they need to be flexable; other trades, vendors, even the coast guard all have to coexsist. They scope of work changes as fast as the tides on this love boat.
