Even before we started building the house, I attended a home show where Blazeks had a huge display. Having had blinds in our old house, I had an idea of what didn't work so well for us and started asking them questions. I was blown away by the expertise and thorough knowledge of their products and willingness to work to customize just what would work well for us. When the house was built, I didn't even think about going anywhere else. I called and Harold came out and spent the better part of the day helping us choose what would work best for the 42 windows and 2 sliding glass doors in this house. He helped us choose the right colors, light opaqueness and power controls for the individual rooms based upon their purpose and use. The blinds were delivered when promised. Harold and Marilyn came to install them, and they couldn't have been more professional, yet warm and engaging. We love what Harold helped us purchase. I feel as though they became friends in the process as they really wanted what was best for us. I would recommend them highly.

After first shopping at a big box blind store, I called the Blazeks for an estimate. Their pricing was comparable & their customer service was top notch..Harold called to say he was running late & arrived when he said he would. Installation was flawless. The Blazeks are true professionals.

It could not have gone better. They arrived early to our home and worked until the job was complete. They explained the products to me and demonstrated how everything worked to my satisfaction. We spoke to Harold at a home show and he was quite informative. It was such a pleasure to have the person you talk to, be the one to measure, discuss, suggest and then come out to install. Ons stop shopping for sure!!! The price was fair and the products fantastic. Our home looks beautiful, they were very neat and very considerate to our home. They left nothing behind, and we cannot wait to work with them once again Thank you Harold and Marilynn Blazek Description of work: Harold and Marilyn were fantastic. Harold did it all, came promptly to our home to measure, discuss and actually provided pricing on the spot. He offered suggestions and was just awesome. Came today to install, he and Marilyn did an awesome job. Our home looks fantastic, his suggestions and ideas were great for our home, our family and our needs. They were a pleasure to work with and the price was right. This work was done in our Lake home and everything just works with the environment. Harold and Marilyn Blazek are very knowledgeable about the Hunter Douglas products that they well. We had them install blinds on all of our windows. Harold was very patient with his measuring and then the installation of the products. I asked Marilyn to come visit to give me ideas on what to do with an upstairs bedroom window that we wanted a room-darkening shade installed on. She designed a beautiful cornice which is covered with padding and a beautiful material to match our bedroom comforter set. Very professional and they truly believe in what they do!!! Would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I bought window coverings from Blazek's Home Furnishings a few years ago. We bought Hunter Douglas window coverings, as well as a drape for our patio door. We were so satisfied with the results that we asked them back again to purchase drapes, cornices, and matching bedspreads for two of our bedrooms. Again, we are more than satisfied with the quality of their installations of the window shades, cornices, and drapes. Marilyn Blazek was extremely helpful with bringing drapery samples and helping me select fabric for the drapes, cornices, and bedspreads. Harold Blazek installed everything within a few hours and left no mess behind. My husband and I could not be more satisfied with their work and professionalism. Needless to say, we highly recommend Blazek's Home Furnishings to anyone who plans on buying new window coverings.
