Mood lighting controls enhance good lighting design. Designed and manufactured in the UK, Rako offers wireless, wired and combined lighting control systems, with interfaces ranging from keypads, remotes, tablets or smartphone Apps. A lighting control system like Rako’s offers the user the ability to recall a scene, or mood of lighting at the touch of a button whilst controlling multiple circuits and lamp types. Circuits split to define zones and highlight room features are programmed to suit the different uses of a space with scene changes incorporating fade times to give subtle lighting transitions. Undoubtedly IOT and voice control are the key factors driving current trends and developments in the smart home sector with the ability to control lighting forming an intrinsic part of that. The simplicity demonstrated by these systems are what clients are ultimately coming to expect from their connected home. At Rako we have launched our new Cloud Gateway enabling voice control of our lighting control system from the many voice recognition systems available, such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Home Kit and Google Home.* The barrier to installation of control systems is often not the product cost, but that of installation and redecoration. For ground-up builds Rako has the wired, Cat5 networked system, but for retro-fits and hassle free installs Rako’s wireless option provides the ideal solution. The ability to be able to combine both wired and wireless options gives ultimate flexibility when planning a system. * Due to the speed at which this technology is evolving contact Rako for status on compatible systems.

We use Rako's lighting control systems in many of our projects. The ability to use wireless modules in especially in retro fit / re-fit projects where running circuits back to a central location isn't practical is priceless. A joy to work with, would highly recommend.
