About Us

Mary Ward Interiors provides an interior design service that is truly personal and bespoke, with an expertise in soft furnishings. With over twenty years experience working in the industry I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and a real passion for beautiful interiors. I work closely with clients throughout each aspect of a project, from initial brief to completion. I offer inspiration and creativity, and make sure the final scheme is a reflection of the client, not just the designer. It is particularly important to me that my clients enjoy the project journey, and that the end results suit their personality and lifestyle. I believe in using high quality materials and skilled craftsmen to create products that are of a top class standard with a superb finish . All our curtains, blinds, bedspreads and cushions are hand made, and our upholsterer is an expert in his field, having worked with both modern and antique furniture.

We approached Mary to seek her advice for new curtains in our living room. We had never had bespoke curtains before and we were quite nervous choosing something that made a statement but that was also classic and would stand the test of time. Mary was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole design process. She listened carefully to what my husband and I wanted (which was not easy given we both had different ideas) and she gently guided us to suitable materials and patterns. All the materials she recommended were of the finest quality. She was extremely patient with us and allowed us to try out different samples of materials so that we could see them in different lights and make a decision. Mary oversaw the fitting of the curtain poles and curtains. Her team were extremely professional and courteous. We are over the moon with the curtains which have transformed living room. We cannot recommend Mary enough for her design consultancy and final delivery.
