I originally obtained a window replacement quote from a big brand store and was shocked at the over-inflated price along with high pressure sales tactics to sign immediately. I did some window comparison research online, spotted Zen Windows and decided to contact them. Matt responded with a very reasonable quote the same evening. Within a few days he came out to take measurements and answered all our questions. A few weeks later our windows were installed by Bob and team. They did a brilliant job. Wood rot was discovered around most of our windows but Bob repaired and replaced all of the damage before installing the new windows. The window quality is every bit as good as other highly marketed brands but at a significantly cheaper cost. The project from start to finish was surprisingly smooth and stress-free. Zen windows installed 17 replacements for my 30-yr-old vinyl windows. I'm very happy with their work. The work was done for the price quoted and in the time frame quoted. Prior to hiring Zen I got 3 estimates. One was ridiculously low (way too good to be true) and the contractor seemed completely disengaged. The other quote was more expensive for the same quality of window. I'm glad I went with Zen. You will find that Matt is responsive to any questions, and is overall great to work with.

I cannot recommend Matt and Zen windows highly enough. From the quote process through regular updates and up to the installation, working with Zen was unlike any contractor I have ever worked with. Matt is responsive, takes responsibility for all aspects of the project and is as honest and forthright a contractor as I have ever experienced. Dealing with Window vendors can be about as unpleasant an experience as there is, but Zen's philosophy and Matt's professionalism truly make these guys a game changer. No sales visits, no pressure tactics and you pay after the installation and once you are completely satisfied!

Having worked in customer support for many years, I can attest to the fact that the service provided by Zen Windows is second to none. They can handle difficult tasks as easily as they handle easy ones, and are promptly available should any problems occur. We plan on using Zen Windows for all remaining window replacements.

I work in the energy conservation field, so when we decided to replace our 100+ year old windows, I knew I wanted something above and beyond the standard replacement unit. I called Zen based on a groupon like offer I saw, but our windows were too large to qualify. Matt discussed the project with me, and volunteered that there was another promotion to upgrade from double to triple pane units for the same price. After providing me with not only the quote, but all the technical information I requested, I happily signed on. The workmen were polite, professional, and clearly experienced. They installed the windows, answered any questions I had, and cleaned up completely. We went around afterwards, and made sure everything met (or exceeded!) expectations. Now that the weather has gotten colder, I can really notice the difference. The house feels warmer and less drafty, and I'm looking forward to lower bills. I highly recommed Zen to anyone looking for a high end replacement window. You won't be disappointed.

Zen windows changed a triple casement window in the bedroom, that were builder grade windows that failed after 17 years. I replaced with a triple double hung window. The installers were professional at their craft, and very personable guys. Matt was great from the start and came by to check on everything during the installation. The windows are great looking and function better than I hoped for, I can't say enough about Zen Windows Boston LLC. Happy with both the new windows and the price. I plan to use them again. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!!! I have been waiting for years to get rid of my 27 year old double hung windows..and low and behold I found ZEN WINDOWS!! The owner MATT ROTONDI is so professional yet SO personable too!! We did the whole house for nearly a 45% savings compared to 2 other companies that made promises they could NOT keep!! Matts’ two installers, Kevin & Gamma were above and beyond perfectionists!! (which I loved as I can be…LOL)ALSO! the beauty and craftsmanship of these casement windows are truly SUPERB!! The house is so sound and tight its a phenomenon! So I can’t wait to see a whole savings of oil for heat and electricity for the AC….it will be short of AMAZING I’m sure!!……………….THX MATT & Crew!!

We're very happy with Zen Windows and Matt, the owner. Kevin and Gama were excellent installers and pleasant and polite at all times. We enjoyed having them here. They knew exactly what they were doing and went about it steadily without a break until it was done. The windows seem to be installed very well. The fit is just right. They are very easy to use and the quality seem first rate to us. The process of choosing windows and installation is confusing. It's hard to get the info you really need to comparison shop. Matt was very helpful with this. He answered all my questions and enabled me to do the needed research to make a sensible decision.

With all the company's touting inexpensive window replacements I did make the initial call to Matt at Zen with some skepticism. They won me over and won my business by being very true to their word of making it simple and painless. Matt is polar opposite of the hard sell. He gave me all the information I needed and a quick no BS price with no fine print, exclusions, add-ons, etc. And no streaming of constant calls or emails. Once I did my research and was able to verify that these are top quality windows with a lot of successful installations and top shelf follow-on customer service, I committed. I was immediately given an install date (2.5 weeks). No contract or upfront deposit demands. Installers showed up at 8 am on the appointed day. Three very polite and competent young men. And stayed until after 9:30 that night just to make sure it was finished properly. The site was cleaned up immaculately. Not a single loose nail or scrap. Zen is truly 5 star. No worries with these guys.

We hired Zen Windows to replace a French door with a large picture window. From beginning to end of this project, we received excellent customer service and we are very satisfied with the outcome.
