Maxwell House Interiors Virginia Warren

When it was time to renovate our 1980s lakehouse bathroom we felt comfortable with Virginia right away, meeting her was like seeing an old friend. She was extremely creative, easy to work with,and very trustworthy. Our project felt more like a collaboration and she was always able to guide us in the decision making process. There were times I had an idea she loved, but I also appreciated her honesty if I had an idea she thought I might regret down the road. She got a good feel for my style right away and offered great options/suggestions to make everything feel beautiful and cohesive. We could not be more pleased, in fact, wrapping up our bathroom remodel was bittersweet! We will miss Virginia and certainly plan to use her again for future projects!

My husband and I built our 1st house, we knew nothing about building, not sure what we wanted in the design, colors, furnishings, well basically everything. My husband looked online for an interior designer to help us, I was overwhelmed. And boy did Virginia Warren of Maxwell House Interiors help us. She was with us all through the build assisting us in picking colors, tile, cabinets, countertops, appliances, interior/exterior colors all the way down to bathroom fixtures to baseboards. I looked forward to meeting with her, she would pull groupings together until, it was exactly what I wanted, saying "that's it". I never worried if it would look good, I had complete confidence in Virginia, I had always heard horror stories of building a house, but with her I never felt anything like that or what we chose for the house, we knew it was going to look great. We do not have regrets of anything in our new house, we have lived here for almost a year. Would I use her again? I sure would.

Virginia is one talented lady! I needed an update in my home and she came and met with me and turned my space from drab to fab!!! I needed new furniture and drapes and she delivered. She designed a space that is warm and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would not hesitate to hire her again. I am planning on some more updates in the future and she will be my first choice for designer.

I can't say enough good things about Virginia. My project started as furnishing a few rooms in our new house, and the experience was so wonderful (and the prices Virginia found on gorgeous, quality furnishings and fixtures so great - I will never buy furniture through retail stores again) that we ended up doing the entire 5000+ square foot house - paint, wallpaper, light fixtures, artwork, and custom curtains. The result is stunning, better than I could have imagined. Virginia's taste is impeccable, but what she really excelled at was getting to know our family, our style, our likes/dislikes, personalities, how we wanted the rooms to look and function, and how much we wanted to spend. I had never worked extensively with a decorator before - I thought they were only for those with big budgets - and didn't want a snob who would look down on my secondhand or "well-loved" pieces or flea market finds. I needn't have worried - Virginia is so down to earth and a genius at mixing high and low end pieces. At the end of the project, I had a gorgeous, comfortable house that perfectly suited our needs, as well as a cherished friend. Next up - patio furnishings!
