The quality of the workmanship was excellent and we were very happy. They were all very friendly and professional. All work was completed within the timeframe and any issues or concerns that came up, Mike was just a phone call away. Concerns were taken care of quickly. We hired Mike to help us refurbish our basement suite. He had many good suggestions and expertly guided us through the process. He is very organized and brought in subcontractors who were all very professional and did excellent work. When my mother-in-law needed a kitchen and living room renovation, we had many things to consider. Trust - As with many older immigrant parents, they sometimes have a difficult time trusting people outside their culture. Mike, of Valley Home Renovations immediate instilled trust with my in-laws the first time we met and his references and track record with reno projects in the community, spoke for itself. When issues invariably came up, they stood behind their work and worked hard to resolve problems even for things - such as flooring - they were not part of their direct responsibility. Communication - The renovation team we selected for my in-law's kitchen needed to be able to communicate with our family effectively as my wife and I were not going to be present through all the work. Mike got along famously with the entire family making the whole renovation process go smoothly. The best part of working with Valley Home Renovations is how they presented us options that were cost-effective and pragmatic while still meeting our timelines. If there were opportunities to reuse existing materials - such as cabinets - to save costs while still keeping to the vision, they would do so. We would not hesitate to contact our "local handymen" from Valley Homes again for any large or small job in the future.
