I was recommended Chicago Shadeworks by a colleague and we were extremely happy with our choice. Mike came to the house with samples and was very professional and knowledgeable. He didn’t try to sell us stuff we didn’t need and was very honest about the products he was offering. He measured our windows and the installation process a few weeks later was efficient and well done. We love our new blinds!!! Now our baby sleeps in the morning with her black out shades, and we feel that the shades have tied together our downstairs. We really appreciated the promptness and helpfulness of Mike along the way. He went out of his way on a regular basis to make sure we got what we wanted. We would recommend him to friends and family and would use his services again in the future.

Mike installed 13 blinds in my bedroom, family room, and bathroom. On my first meeting with Mike, we discussed several options for the windows. He priced out several options and I chose to go with the blinds. He measured, ordered and installed and the project took 2 weeks from the first meeting to installation. When I moved into my condo I was not a fan of the cheap contractor blinds that were installed. The following spring I decided to use my tax refund on some new treatments. I first got the roll shades for the first floor. I picked a stylish, neutral color and a contemporary low-key pattern. We get lots of compliments for those blinds. A few years later, for our nursery got white blinds. The louvers keep out most of the light when you need, and during the day, the white of the large flat louvers reflects sunlight all over the room. The frames of the blinds open up like French doors if you need to clean or open the window. Both we feel were good investments for our home. Last year there was a dumpster fire outside our window near our garage whose heat broke our windows and melted one of our blinds. We were afraid we might have to get all three sets replaced, but Mike was able to obtain the same material and then match up and replace the one fire-damaged blind. Our experiences with Mike were very positive. He’s been very prompt, courteous and professional. He provided a lot of samples and knows his products extremely well. Mike is easily reachable by phone or email. Would definitely recommend and will do business with him again.
