Country Cabinets

I completed a kitchen remodel with Country Cabinets in March 2020 and am thrilled with the results. Beginning with the planning and through the completion of the project, everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. They offered great ideas and advice when selecting materials and designing the layout of the cabinets. I was able to get what I wanted within the budget I expected and the quality of these cabinets is outstanding!

We interviewed multiple cabinet makers before we made the decision to go with Country Cabinets for our kitchen remodel. The job they did for us exceeded our expectations. They were pleasant to deal with and offered several helpful recommendations when we were not sure exactly what we wanted. We are impressed with the quality of their workmanship. I feel proud that we were able to support a local family business!

We had Country Cabinets out to our place to do a bid and I regret that we did not go with them. I've heard so many good things about their work and the ease of working with them. Unfortunately, we went with a cabinet maker in Nerstrand and even though the cabinetry is beautiful, we had many difficulties with their granite and backsplash person and they lied to us about some things. When we put in a bathroom and some other cabinet work, I'm definitely going to Country Cabinets.

Dave and Mary listened to what our need was and even looked at design ideas we had. In the end we incorporated their input and came out with a cabinet/locker that we are very happy with.

I have and would recommend Country Cabinets to anyone who is putting in a new kitchen cabinets. What they say they are going to do, they did. Our cabinets turned out beyoned our expectations. They were very detailed and pointed out things that we never seen. I would call Mary and Dave for your next kitchen cabinet design.

We hired County cabinets to perform several remodeling projects in a home we purchased prior to our move in. They assisted us in developing our design. (We did not use a personal designer because we wanted our home to reflect our tastes and not the designers). Dave helped us a lot by visiting the home on numerous occasions to first get an idea of what we wanted, and on subsequent visits to help us lay out our ideas and talk through our plan. Dave developed an initial plan and then revised it until he nailed down exactly what we wanted. Our projects consisted of building a large center island, two tiered with a granite top and enough room for up to 6 bar stools. We also had them install a wood ceiling inour sunroom and bulit in cabinets in the living room (a 10 foot ceiling with cabinets that wrap around one wall with fireplace and to the ceiling along another wall about 11 feel in length). Other projects indluced bead board in a bathroom, a shower remodel, and crown molding in two bedrooms. Everything they did met or exceeded our expectations. We were extremely pleased with the high quality of the work. We will definiately use Country Cabinets for our future projects.

We wanted to completely replace our kitchen cabinets, countertops and lighting as part of kitchen remodel project. We had met Country Cabinets at the Dakota County Fair and were impressed with their work. This impression was further reinforced when they gave a tour of their facility this spring when we meet to go over the project. As part of the project, they agreed to a slightly aggressive schedule in order to have the project done by our daughter's graduation. Overall, the project went well. We made sure to protect our hardwood floors with both rosin paper and laid down thin sheets of masonite in the traffic areas. On the positive side, the kitchen cabinets look fantastic and so does the back splash. They were willing to work on a weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) and pull in extended members of the family/company to complete the back splash by the graduation date. The only downside was punctuality. We had on numerous occasions had to reach out to them to find out when they were coming back so we schedule someone to be home to let them in. A couple of times when they had said they were coming in the morning, they did not show up till early afternoon because of delays on other projects. It was a bit stressful because we had lost our kitchen for five weeks through this process and were anxious to get things back to normal. We would recommend them as their work was excellent and hope to use them on a basement project in the future.

My husband and I hired Country Cabinets to create a two desk, built in wall cabnitry for our home office. We were more than satisfied with the extra attention to detail and quality workmanship that went into their cabinets. When it came time for our kitchen renovation we chose Country Cabinets because we could trust their commitment to quality and thorough product knowledge. They worked with us through the design phase to maximize the space we had to work with and gave us ideas that would make the flow-through of the workspace more efficient. Country Cabinets showed us examples of all the choices we had and what to expect upon completion. They answered our questions along the way, and we never felt rushed in the process. They design, build and install a cabinet that is the highest quality in the business.

We enjoyed working with Mary. She was very kind, considerate, and helpful. If she did not know the answer to a question she would find out and get back to us in a timely manner. Mary took us to other kitchen remodels to help us in our decision making. She helped us pick out the wood and stain for our kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. She provided information to us on sinks, countertops, and hardware. Mary was prompt in getting an invoice to us on the project cost and stayed within the budget that was set. We are very happy with our remodeled kitchen and bathrooms and we thank Mary and Country Cabinets for this.

Country Cabinets does a great job every time. They have great ideas and work hard to get the design you are looking for right down to the last detail. They are always on time and willing to go the extra mile to make sure each and every customers concerns and questions are met with the highest degree of craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality.

These folks are outstanding! We knew we wanted to work with them when we learned that they do all of the woodworking themselves, and oversee the whole project. They were very responsive to our needs, flexible when we needed to reschedule things, and had some excellent suggestions that opened up our kitchen in a way that made it almost seem like half of our first floor was brand new. All that without kitchen remodeling, just redoing the cabinets! Highly recommended to us by a builder, definitely a good investment in our home.

We had Country Cabinets design and build a very large buffet/hutch. Their attention to detail was awesome. It turned out better than we'd hoped. Late in 2011, we moved and Country Cabinets came to our previous location and dis-assembled the unit prior to the movers showing up to ensure it was done properly. That was something they weren't obligated to do, but they were happy to do it. That gesture left a very favorable impression on us.
