the fan might be what it should be, although there is a click inside the motor housing. also the modern forms wall switch i ordered with the fan does not work modern forms tech support (dan) takes over a week to respond and then does not respond to the issue. after multiple attempts to talk to someone, i am still waiting 3 weeks later for a response to my issue. it's getting to the point that i am about to box this fan back up and send it back. for $600 i expect way more. if i wanted to be ignored i would have bought a cheap fan. if your modern forms fan works, consider yourself lucky, because if you ever have an issue, you'll never get it resolved. . .

Commented: Does this have an on/off switch?Helllo, This fixture does not come with an on/off switch. You can use a dimmer with it, it would been to be an ELV dimmer. This light is hard wired onto your wall. Thank You, Modern Forms
