Monique Becker warmed up our new home with her lovely window treatments. From fabric selection to the finished products, we are truly happy to have worked with her turning our house into a home. She also provided assistance with re-upholstery of two chairs and, again, her guidance on fabric selection and color family was right on.

Definitely Better After

Monique Becker is a very talented local designer. Her award winning window treatments are breathtakingly beautiful. She is very positive and forward thinking, not to mention chock full of creative ideas. Her attention to detail is top notch and really makes her work stand out compared to others. Her calming personality and take charge attitude make her clients feel immediately at ease. As a colleague, she is a pleasure to work with. Sew Easy Windows

I have worked with Monique on a professional level and had the opportunity to watch her at work and view her work on display at major industry conferences. She has an incredible eye for detail and design. She is able to incorporate unusual elements to create window treatments that are unique - contemporary and traditional designs. She is an expert fabricator with attention to details and knowledge of best fabrication techniques. Plus, she is a really wonderful person to work with.

Having no experience or confidence with obtaining new curtains, I asked Monique to come to my house to see whether she could help me. It turned into a wonderful partnership and experience, resulting in curtains/shades for four rooms and decorative touches such as adding beautiful trim to otherwise boring lampshades. Monique made everything herself to the highest standards. I believe that one of the secrets to Monique's success is her ability to take the time to understand the client's style and needs. She starts from there and then adds her own ideas and knowledge. The result is great service and great product. I get nothing but pleasure from looking at my new curtains and feeling that I successfully contributed to the process.

I had no idea where to start to hire someone to make stationary London shades for my two living room windows. Someone suggested a trade association, in which Monique was listed as a member. Monique was one of the few members that had a website for me to review her work and style, so I knew immediately she was more professional than many others. As my condo is in Old City (Philadelphia), many of the estimates I received were from services along the Mainline. Monique was much more reasonable but I think we were both concerned about the distance between her and my condo. We worked together and made suitable arrangements, including me dropping off my fabric and her husband's office, which was closer to my office. And today her work adds color and class to my small condo. I found Monique very easy to work with, economical, and she delivered a quality product.

I saw Monique at a show and loved her booth. Her work looked great. I contacted her to dress three sets of windows in my house. She gave me several options and I found something that could work within my budget. The whole process was incredibly easy. She came out and we met, she got an idea of my style and what I liked, she gave me designs to choose from and then she installed what I wanted. It really could not have gone more smooth. The installation was also very easy. I would absolutely recommend Monique to all of my friends and will use Becker Window Fashions again for future projects.

What a creative person she is! We hired her thinking one thing and she gently nudged it around and made it significantly better than we hoped. As for followup, she later did lamp shades and provided a re-upholstered bedroom lounge chair and foot stool. Icing on the cake. Very professional, delivered items on time as promised and the selections she has in the shop are too-much to take in. Wish more professionals handled their business the way she does.

Well, what can I saw. We have an old farm house with windows of every size and shape. Nothing in this place is the same. Also, to add to that, in keeping with the theme, and the window sills, some 18" and some smaller, Mrs. Becker advised us on using a Roman Shade, and they are lovely. Each room has its own distinct image and style. She suggested cafe curtains in the eating area and wooden blinds in others. She was professional, and when I had a tiny problem with one of the pulls (I thought the cat ate it!), she was out in no time to fix and or repair at no additional charge to us. I would highly recomment this company to any of my friends and family. You will not be disappointed. JL
