Move out Mates

I have been disappointed with cleaners in the past but not this time though. I needed an end of tenancy cleaning and booked Move out Mates for the job. All equipment and cleaning products were provided by the technicians. The property was cleaned from top to bottom and the result was amazing. I would like to thank you and for the understanding, responsiveness and quality work. I would use your cleaning services again!

We received extremely disappointing service for a company which supposedly specialises in move out/move in and post builder cleaning services. Moving into a dirty house in addition to the other stresses of moving house was a very unwelcome surprise. We wanted to be able to unpack our things directly into clean cupboards but ended up having to reclean most of the rooms/cupboards given the state we found things in (see photos of visible dirt/dust). I was very clear in my brief about the size of the property and level of cleaning needed (ie post building/damp proofing) but the cleaning service provided was well below the standard I would have expected. I raised a formal complaint with the company directly which took weeks and weeks to progress (with me having to actively follow up) and did not lead to a satisfactory outcome. After lots of back and forth I received a minor refund for the fees paid but feel the need to write this review to save others the heartache of inadequate cleaning services and the unwanted hassle of having to follow up afterwards when hard earned money has already been paid over. We were hugely unimpressed.

Very professional end of tenancy cleaning. The team was very kind and friendly and they left my flat in pleasing condition. My landlord was happy, so I am happy. Keep in mind that the cleaners are not native, so their knowledge of English is limited!

I usually do the end of tenancy clean myself but this time decided to use professional help as am currently expecting. Move Out Mates were just amazing, considerate and reliable to the end. Such a positive and hardworking bunch of people. Did a top to bottom clean and took all my little requests into consideration. I am very grateful and recommend their services to all!

I move quite often which is why tenancy cleaning is the bane of my existence. However, this time I got help from Move Out Mates's people who were really thorough and professional with everything and managed to save me tons of money and pain in the knees. A+ service!

The end of tenancy re-clean guarantee is worthless. The cleaners did a terrible job, which of course we didn't see because we'd moved out. The check-out report mentioned cobwebs and dust, and further cleaning required to the kitchen and bathroom. It's hard to see how a professional clean could leave such a terrible result. As a result, we paid £229 for the clean, and then the landlord kept £240 from the deposit to re-clean. An independent adjudicator awarded him half of that, saying that the landlord was under no obligation to allow Move Out Mates back into the property. As the client hiring Move Out Mates, we were powerless to enforce their re-clean guarantee (and presumably Move Out Mates is well aware of this). Because they didn't do a decent job in the first place, we have had to pay the price. Would never recommend.

Excellent services in London, Islington N1. I was approved for a job in another country 4 days before my tenancy contract expires. If I missed the deadline, I had to pay another months rent, which is 1600 pounds, for a time I won't occupy the property. I needed to move out in extremely short terms and Move out Mates made it possible for me. I booked a full package - end of tennancy cleaning, removals and storage facilities for my furniture as I had no other property to leave it in. They did everything in two days and the flat was spotless, my landlady was super delighted and gave me all of my deposit, minus a small sum we agreed upon in advance. Fantastic performance and amazign customer care ! Thank you !
