Ron is a talented carpenter. He re-built a new mantel to fit and coordinate with our original bookcase built-ins in our 1920s house. This was a project that we've put off for 10 years, because we couldn't find anyone willing to take this on (nor with the skill to do so). I found Ron on here and he made us a pantry/cabinets in our kitchen. He made four large cabinets and stained butcher block for counter top. Looks and functionality are amazing! He was always on time and extremely pleasant to work with. His pricing was fair. Always a happy demeanor while working on the cabinets and so nice to chat with. My wife and I hired Ron Moyer to construct a dining room table for our newly renovated home. We had found some tables on the market that we liked, but none had quite the right dimensions or look for the intended space. Working from some inspiration items we presented him, Ron was able to modify and adapt our ideas into a beautiful table. It really puts to shame anything we found available in stores and is a great conversation piece when we host friends and family. Ron was great to work with. He helped us make some interesting material selections for the table and just hit it out of the park on selected finish stains. I cannot recommend him enough.

Three years ago, I hired Ron to build a custom home bar for our basement remodel. I especially enjoyed the design phase where Ron, my wife, and I tossed ideas back and forth about the type of top, materials and finish. Ron was a great help in guiding us and ultimately was inspired to suggest African Mahogany. For the maple cabinets and fronts, he came up with a custom finish that he calls "Silver Wash". It is, literally, unique and beautiful beyond my ability to describe. Ron was always finished with each phase of the project when he said he would be and installed the bar with precision and great care. We have asked Ron to return and do some more cabinetry in the same area now that we've had time to live in the space and really know what we need. I'll point out that this was his suggestion three years ago. I was eager to get anything done, and Ron would have accommodated me, but due to his experience, he knew I would be happier if we waited. His product is a functional work of art that has greatly enhanced many moments with family and friends.

Ron has worked on two projects in my home: Cabinets and lockers in our mudroom/laundry room and kitchen garbage cabinet with a foot opening mechanism. Ron is wonderful to work with. He always listens attentively to our ideas and enjoys figuring things out together. He is creative and willing to go the extra mile to customize things, including matching old colors and stains. In our locker area, I was impressed that he was able to save the original crown molding in the room. This was after other contractors said it would all have to be removed and replaced. With our garbage center, Ron made a beautiful door out of older cabinet doors that I had saved. This was really important to me as the profile and color would have been very hard to match otherwise. Ron was always on time for out meetings and great to be around. His price is very reasonable and his work is high quality. I will be hiring him again for future projects.

Ron Moyer has worked inside my home for the last 10 years. Whenever I have a touch up, need something built, painted,or designed- Ron is the first person I call. Not only is he professional, he is creative and finds practical solutions to any problem. He is a wonderful designer, painter and, of course, wood worker. He is not only talented, Ron is also kind and fair. Having him in my home is a treat for the whole family. There is simply no one better!
