'You can't design or style a home until you become clients that will live there.' It's all about absorbing all your client has to offer in their lives 'people always have an underlying signature' living and breathing their lifestyle and giving that signature support for change, the courage to change the font, and ignite the inspiration and creativity they already have. To stand in their stagnant points and introduce them to a philosophy, a way of life not just a piece for furniture. A picture can look perfect even practical, if it doesn't fit the family it can be an obstacle. A home is a sacred place it's your sanctuary, the only place in the whole world you can feel truly secure and comfortable... From professionals to families a home has to work hard for you, the goal isn't to achieve a pin up magazine directive. People are as individual as the designer that produces a piece furniture, a room or a complete home. My goal is to become the home therapist to for the family, install every last detail that makes them smile returning home. To have those systems, rooms and designs that make being at home an every day pleasure not a chore a full time mum has on loop or a professional after a 10-12 hour day or those doing both. By becoming the client you know what that one switch means to that individual, the shower room that washes layers of stress whilst filling with the aroma of lavender and the intricate systems that make life run that little bit smoother from a cleverly designed laundry system to automatic window dressings when bed is all you can feel calling.
