Your home must reflect your personal style and my job is to make that style the best it can be – indeed beyond your dreams. I create timeless, stylish and comfortable interiors and bring a fresh perspective to every project. Whether you are building, renovating or simply want a new look for your home, I can provide a variety of design services. One of my mantras is “Do it right, do it once and then you won’t have to do it again.” I am a believer in spending money in the best possible way and for furnishings that will last. I am pragmatic and very resourceful. I know how to make your dollars go as far as possible. In particular, I love working with older homes. I like to incorporate the character and “bones” of them and build on that to create beautiful and functional interiors for modern living that will compliment the original details of the home. I have very good knowledge of antiques and know where to shop for good buys on estate and consignment furnishings. I am also an expert in designing functional and multiple uses for small spaces, particularly New York and city apartments.
I believe that a successful design project must begin with a spirit of collaboration with the client. A solid, good working relationship with the client, educating them about the myriad of choices and guiding them trough the design process are the keys to achieving a beautiful end result. All projects begin with an analysis of the design problem particularly the client’s wishes, style and budget. My years of experience and constant search for new resources bring the opportunity for clients to receive cutting-edge products and technology to their projects. Clients are shown spatial layouts, choices of colors, materials and finishes for all areas of the rooms as well as selections of furniture. Clients are provided with a Letter of Agreement for design services as well as proposals and purchase orders for all products and services.
