New Form Landscapes was established by two brothers, Simon and Ben Hawkins, bringing together a passion for cutting-edge design and a wide knowledge of construction.

Commented: Is the deck in contact with the ground or its cut away underneath? Thanks for your question Giles. The ground is cut away and has a provision for drainage so it doesn't flood. All the wood is protected from the ground using plastic damp proof membrane. Hope this help...

Commented: Is this project in an area that freezes? Hi April, it is a garden in St Albans, Hertfordshire - so yes, it will occasionally freeze during the winter and we have taken that into account when sourcing materials for the design and construction...

Commented: Rosie Hi Michele Its Red wood cedar - these panels were made to fit on site. You can buy ready made ones from a company called Silva timber using the same material. - Hope that helps. Best regards Simon
