Being apart of the community of Newtown and its neighbors for 24 years, this "mom and pop" shop has evolved over the years. Starting with just the sales and service of vacuums, we grew to service sewing machines, and now also to selling kitchen, laundry, and air purifying appliances. Our primary goal for every person who walks through our new spacious location's double doors is to have their cleaning related problems solved. This "problem solving" approach has proven to be more fulfilling and satisfying than chasing dollars and cents. Whether your problem involves a simple consumable item, a new product, a service, a minor task like a belt change or some advice and pointers on removing a pesky stain or odor, or sometimes a story or history lesson, we make sure you leave satisfied and with a smile. Everyday we are working toward our goal, of keeping you, your family, your home, and our community cleaner! We, (Terry and Sandor) came to America from Eastern Europe, Hungary 28 years ago. We brought with us a unique, some would say, an old fashioned approach to cleaning and keeping things clean. This combined with some of today's best and most advanced technologies makes the shopping experience at Newtown Sew and Vac one of a kind.
