About Us

Nicholas Kirk founded Nicholas Kirk Architects in 2011. The office is a design lead, RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice based in North London. NKA create buildings and spaces that are inspired by their context and culture to improve and enhance our everyday experience of the built environment. The NKA design process involves testing out and prototyping ideas through drawing, consultation and model making. Research is a critical part of the practice for continuing development and growth. The practice are adept at communicating ideas through advanced 3D visualisations and computer modeling, 2D / 3D CAD and BIM alongside hand sketches and drawings.

Working with NK Architects has been an utmost pleasure. Fast communication and clear instructions with meticulous drawings and solid design ideas has made Nicky one of our favourite architects to work with. I really can't praise him enough and would not hesitate to recommend his practice to any client. No matter how big and complex the project might be I have all the confidence that NKA can handle it with ease and deliver outstanding designs including structural calculations, party wall survey and all the planning permissions and building regulations.
