Nick produced something truly wonderful with Oso. He designed and led the construction of arguably the best and highest class bouldering and fitness gym in the country, starting with a dilapidated warehouse. He expertly blended the use and flow of spaces with natural light while preserving the original structure's charm - something that other architects often overlook. More than that, Nick was a client advocate first and foremost, helping managing the most difficult parts of the process and leading on my behalf across various engineers, contractors and outside vendors. The results speak for themselves, and my team and I could not be happier with the results.

Nick performed a site visit and residential conceptual site plan. He was very responsive. I was impressed with his ability to quickly realize surrounding geography and its influence on our project. He also did a great job sketching/rendering a concept, on the spot, during our site visit (his spontaneous drawing abilities; in 3D, were very impressive). The concept he provided was well thought out, incorporated many of our desires, and was very clear.

Diane Lupke Associates, Inc.

Diane Lupke & Associates, Inc. engaged Nick Dean Architect for a project in Michigan. The project was to conduct a feasibility analysis for a community center on a tricky piece of property in a small rural town. Nick conducted an innovative virtual charrette with the team while preparing concept sketches for the proposed multiuse structure. Once a concept was agreed to, Nick prepared final elevation drawings, site plans, and floor plans for the structure. Nick's work was visually appealing, practical for the unusual site, and economically sound. His visualization of community ideas was critical for productive conversations. We were very happy with his work and would not hesitate to engage him for future projects.

I hired Nick to design a kitchen remodel to my 1941 home. I showed him my ideas. Our appointment exceeded my expectations. I showed him various ideas I wanted, Nick took those and drew up exactly what I didn't envision what could be done with me kitchen. He is professional, and super creative within budget, plus sets expectations.
