Our goal in every garden is to create a custom oasis that will allow you to relax and enjoy the outdoors. By combining plants with elements such as artificial grass, rocks, and pathways, our designs enhance your property's value and visual appeal. About the designer Our Founder, Claudia Lopez, fell in love with plants as a child. She obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Agronomy and became a leading plant pathologist for the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). Seeking fresh opportunities, Claudia then moved to Miami, where she could continue to apply her knowledge of tropical plants. After noticing that her neighbors were frustrated with the service from local landscaping companies, Claudia founded Sugar Green Gardens in 2011. Claudia has now led Sugar Green Gardens for 10+ years, with that same passion she had as a child still fueling our work. From day one, our mission has been to delight clients with our attention to detail and customer service. If given the chance, we are confident that we can transform your South Florida property into a stunning sanctuary.

Claudia, Juan, and their Sugar Green Gardens team could not have provided a more positive experience. Claudia immediately impressed me not only with her expertise and professionalism, but also her warm personality and collaborative approach. She remained responsive during the planning stages and active in overseeing the installation. Juan, also a pleasure to work with, was on-site continually, supervising and participating in the work, answering my questions and making requested adjustments along the way. He and the rest of the team showed up as scheduled and worked diligently for full days (which anyone who has had residential work done in South Florida knows is a rarity). Juan and Claudia also went to great lengths to find not only particular plant species but also the best quality plants, and everyone was ostensibly eager to ensure that I would be happy with the result. With what seemed to me quite fair pricing and the overall way the project was handled I feel that I more had got my money’s worth. Working with Sugar Green Gardens was totally stress-free and the new landscaping has beautifully transformed our property.

I seldom write reviews however I was so impressed with Claudia and Juan that I had to share this. From the start Sugar Green Gardens were professional. They came on time with everything they need to prepare a design. The design was ready when promised and was beautiful. The cost was reasonable. When we finally received the ok from our HOA they came within a week with healthy shrubs, trees , plants, ground cover etc. It was the first time since moving to south Florida that a trade did not have to leave to get something from Home Depot. They had everything they needed. The workers were very polite and efficient. They were clean and neat. Not so easy when you are working with dirt. Juan was here every day working alongside his men. Juan said the installation would take 3 days and it did. He even power washed the pavers when they finished. Sugar Green Gardens is excellent to work with. I am looking forward to working with them again.

Claudia was extremely professional and understanding at every point of the project. She worked with us to figure out what we really wanted while making us conscientious of what our space and location permitted so that the plants could actually be long lasting and prosperous., She was able to accurately translate our vision into a beautiful and colorful garden. Honestly, her work was impeccable and my family and I are truly thankful for all the love she put into our dream front and backyard. Highly recommend.
