Remodeling a bathroom is not an easy project, but Jennifer, our designer, guided me through each step of the process. The cabinets, tile and quartz countertops and accents are all came out perfect. Jennifer is so talented and a joy to work with.

My kitchen turned out beautiful, little stressful I was told it would take about 3-6 weeks; it was 3 months living out of the laundry with 2 toddlers running about. I do have other projects around my house, not large ones but a job. I have spoken to them several times. they say they are interested, but won't commit, and have never returned a call. I'm under the impression they are not interested, after over a year has gone by..

I was doing a remodel of my kitchen and needed new upper cabinet doors to replace my old style ones. Tessier Cabinets was able to match the lower cabinet doors so the upper and lowers looked like they were made at the same time. They got me a quote very fast and were able to build the 15 doors in short order. Their quality was excellent and the doors were paint ready. Their price was resonable and the office staff was very nice. I would highly recommend Tessier to anyone doing a kitchen remodel.

Norm Tessie Cabinets helped us plan, find materials, gutt, and reconstruct our kitchen. They did an outstanding job. The workers were very neat, and responsive to my questions. We have a beautiful and functional kitchen. I love it!

Dylan and his crew custom-built a beautiful new cabinet to fit under our existing bathroom countertop. It fits perfectly and looks fantastic.

We approached Norm Tessier Cabinets because of their reputation online and their location near our house. Our kitchen was not in bad shape, but it was poorly designed with very limited counter space, a lot of very high-up cabinets, hardwood floors that had seen better days, and an island that was completely used up by a useless downdraft stovetop. Their designer (Rachel) spent a lot of time talking with us about what we wanted to get out of the new kitchen and what (if anything) could be saved from the old one. I had a lot of ideas about what I wanted for appliances, and my Wife had her preferences for colors and materials. Between the three of us, we came to the conclusion that the best approach that only the refrigerator was going to be spared. Their designer came up with several concept sketches, which we worked through, threw out, moved around and finally all came up with a concept we loved. Tile floors, marble countertops & backsplash, dark wood cabinets, modern design. Complex construction elements included building a walk-in pantry, closing up a doorway into the dining room (which wasn’t done correctly by the previous owners), as well as relocating the stove from the island to the wall (along with filling and sealing the downdraft vent) and adding it a roof vent with a remote blower. Their designer sent us down to the SubZero/Wolf Gallery in Costa Mesa as well as the Expressions Home Gallery in Irvine to look at appliances, and to Arizona Tile (as well as 3 others) for our Floor Tile & Countertops. They started demolition on 2/28. Their crews moved furniture, cleared the area, plastic covered everything that wasn’t being demolished or removed. While moving it, Tessier’s crew found that our refrigerator had a large rusted ice flow down the back (which later was determined by its manufacturer to be a non-fixable leak). Over the next nearly 3 months, Tessier’s crew worked just about every day (there were a few points where they had to pause for inspections, delivery delays, etc). Their crew foremen were very good about working with me on installing ‘special’ devices (I have a lot of WiFi Electrical Switches, lighting controls, pool controls, etc). Their work was as clean as could be expected with this much dirt, dust, and work. Near the end of the project, we met with their team and went through a “knock list” of items that needed to be corrected. These were all dealt with rapidly and to our satisfaction. We only had one large change to be implemented, and that involved changing the size/shape of the refrigerator from a standard type to a SubZero Built-in model. They re-did the cabinetry above the refrigerator, reducing it in size but making for a perfect fit. Everything Tessier did was noted and most things were scheduled and invoiced through Buildertrend.com. All of our selections and choices were noted there (with photos). That website gives a pretty nice way of seeing where you are in the project, how much you have yet to spend and what most of the elements are costing. Only a few additional items were added to the project at our request. We had their crews also tile the floors, redo the crown moldings and repaint the adjoining family room, as well as repaint the wall in the dining room where the doorway had once stood. Tessier's crews handled these additional tasks for what I considered to be minimal cost and effort. All in all, we were very happy with our choices and the workmanship and professionalism of Norm Tessier Cabinets. I'd use them again for any type of remodeling work I have.

I would give Norm Tessier two stars if it weren't for their truly horrible customer service. There were some positives. We hired them for kitchen cabinets, two bathroom vanities, and two medicine cabinets. Our initial experience with Jennifer was very positive and we were impressed with the showroom and factory. When the cabinets were installed, there were some significant mistakes, like panels not being built to specs, which we obviously asked them to correct. They did fix these large problems quickly. There were also some more minor but still important issues, like uneven spacing on the inset cabinets and cabinet doors not closing flush. The hardware on these cabinets was installed crooked and scratched in many places, with many snapped off, missing, or stripped screws. The paint almost immediately wore off in certain areas (like the seams on the island). The medicine cabinets were disappointing and didn't look at all like the photo we sent. They seemed cheaply constructed and barely functional. One of the bathroom vanities is fine, but the other one had many drawers that didn't work. However, we expected there to be a final walkthrough and/or adjustment to most of these issues. Instead we got several requests for payment and were treated as if our basic requests that things be functional and level were over the top. Norm Tessier sent two employees to fix the problems per our request, and they did fix some of the problems, like making the hardware level and replacing some screws. However, there were still things that didn't work and mismatched and stripped screws as well as scratched hardware. We were asked to sign a certificate of completion even though the work was not completed, and again, we got a request for payment with no walkthrough. There was another visit to the house to correct these issues, during which we were told that obviously mismatched screws actually did match and that we were being too demanding. The kitchen cabinets seem to be quality wood and there were some thoughtful touches. The regular handles were installed wonderfully, but they didn't seem to be able to handle installing the latches that we asked for. I also wouldn't recommend getting glass panels on your cabinet doors from them, as they just slap a piece of glass on the back of the wood and use silicone caulking to affix--it looks crappy. The bathroom vanity and medicine cabinets were both expensive and disappointing. Our medicine cabinets still don't work, though they were able to get the vanity drawers to all function properly. I think if you're getting basic work done, they would do a good job. If you want anything highly custom, they don't seem capable of handling it and will treat you as though you are too demanding. We also felt overall we were nickled and dimed throughout the process. I do not recommend.

My wife and I visited Norm Tessier Cabinets in April, 2018 to evaluate the quality and cost of custom cabinets for our master bathroom remodel. We were pleasantly surprised at the selection, color, quality and price of the cabinetry. Additionally we learned that NT Construction, which was an affiliate of Norm Tessier Cabinets was a fully licensed contractor. The project began in May, 2018 and was completed in August. We remained on a mutually agreed upon schedule throughout the remodel and just can't say enough about the professionalism and prompt attention to our needs throughout the process. The remodel consisted of a complete demolition and expansion of our master bathroom. Our designer, Rachel was brilliant in her vision and recommendations. Dave, Dylan, Lloyd and all of the sub-contractors were so professional and humble yet sincerely proud of their work product. We felt like we were an integral part of the decision making process throughout the project. On a few occasions issues that arose that required thorough discussion. Dave, Dylan and Lloyd were so patient and open to our ideas. As a result we believe the best options were selected based on everyone's input. The job was completed to our overwhelming satisfaction. This is our fourth major remodel in 40 years and was by far the best experience. We can't thank Dave, his family and the crew enough for the exquisite final product. We are remiss in the tardy submission of this rating only because life sometimes gets in the way.

From our first consultation to the completion walk thru, everyone that worked on our kitchen remodel was amazing. Jennifer seamlessly guided us through each and every design element, offering suggestions and recommendations for every decision. Dylan was available to answer any questions or handle construction obstacles that came up. Every person that worked on our kitchen was professional and courteous. It was a pleasure to work with Norm Tessier and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.

Norm Tessier Cabinets did our entire house. Kitchen, laundry room, pantry, and all bathrooms. Every part of the job was extremely professional from day 1 at the showroom to final install. The experience and knowledge of cabinetry they have is top notch. Always paying attention to every little detail. Seeing all the new equipment in the shop was amazing. We are soo happy with our Cabinents and the functionality of the designs they came up with. We had bids from 2 other contractors but they just didnt have the skill, knowledge, experience, and listening skills like Norm Tessier. 110% satisfied and have and will continue to recommend them to others.
