I cannot recommend Scott and Paradigm Stairs highly enough. The staircase for our loft conversion presented a complex challenge as it needed to fit within a restricted space to provide access. I also wanted a modern, open look that would contrast nicely with the rest of the Victorian house. Scott demonstrated remarkable expertise throughout the entire process. From his initial assessment to the development of detailed drawings and the actual installation, Scott's systematic approach and meticulous attention to detail resulted in a staircase that we are delighted with. Regardless of the issues that arose, Scott maintained a positive and professional demeanour, always finding the answers to problems both structural and aesthetic. The installation of our staircase was a complicated one, as it was part of wider house renovation and consequently there were numerous challenges that needed to be overcome. Thankfully Scott did an outstanding job throughout the process. From his initial survey to liaising with our manufacturer on the finer details to the actual installation, Scott’s methodical approach and attention to detail yielded a wonderful result that we are extremely happy with. Scott assisted me with the design of three beautiful spiral staircases in a very complex Grade 1 Listed structure in the centre of Bath. As an Architect, I had a particular image in my mind of what I wanted to achieve and how the staircases would ideally look like and, having run this past a few other staircase manufacturers, it was clear to me from the moment that I communicated with Scott that he was exactly the sort of person that I could work with and who would deliver the end product. He exceeded my expectations and handled the entire process with absolute professionalism, helping me make carefully considered judgement calls throughout the process to get the detail that i wanted exactly right, whilst at the same time ensuring budget was not exceeded. All of the staircases needed careful plotting for access on and off to correspond with the requirements of the property. Scott's vast catalogue of previous projects and experiences, as well as 3D renderings, all helped massively to visualise the staircases before they were manufactured; he checked and cross-checked all measurements, addressed all my concerns and installed the staircases himself. So fully hands-on and a real one-stop-shop from start to finish. He has also helped assist me with post-installation queries and matters. Scott's clear knowledge and experience of high-end bespoke spiral staircases was invaluable. These beautifully structures that Scott created receive many compliments and remain a talking point to everyone who visits the apartments. Thank you Scott for making this happen.
